Cute park, but no restrooms? Came here with my toddler for a picnic and to my surprise the bathrooms are locked only open with a reservation? So many kids playing, many small children, seems very unpractical to see the restrooms closed. Little kids can't hold it that long. I've only ever seen this in bad parts of riverside with an abundance of homeless people. Corona seems to be going down hill.
Really nice park for taking a walk. Plenty of picnic tables, play ground, and little walking bridge. Lots of shade trees.

This park is great. The kids won't get bored so easily with the playground and they have plenty of shade and benches for you to sit and watch

Interesting park to say the least. Bathrooms locked. Good playground area. Lots of grass to enjoy throwing ball, etc. They should fix pond so people can enjoy that. Def an eyesore.

It was actually a very pleasant experience. I was able to practice soccer with my kids with no interruption. There weren't any homeless people sleeping in the middle of the field, at least not yet. And there weren't any kids trying to take over my daughter's soccer ball. I don't mind if they want to join in and practice. But when they come over and just try to take the ball it's not okay. The only complaint I would have is if there was a bunch of masks spread throughout the field. But that's an easy fix.

Great park, however the bathrooms stay locked unless you reserve ahead of time to get unlocked. There is also a soft play area which can also be reserved. The playground has two gyms. One is great for under 5 y/o. 2 toddler swings and 4 kid swings. Nice big grass field too. My dog loves it

UPDATE 11/5/23: park still very dated and everything is pretty much rusted. Wood chips gets into MY shoes and my kids too which is very annoying. No shade for the 365 days we have in CA. I read an update somewhere in Corona that some parks are getting updates but so far nothing for River road park. Please someone update this park! Plus bathroom is never available but we're only 5 mins away from home but still, very annoying cant even wash our hands after playing.

Original review: It's alright. Close park to our home but very dated. Colors faded, rust everywhere and tag graffities can be found throughout the playground. Wish they would maintenance it better or build a new one.
