I would recommend wearing comfortable hiking boots to start! Additionally, there is also a-ton to do here besides the trails I wasn't aware of like: MINI GOLF & A History Museum to start... The trails & falls will impress a new feeling of respect geared towards nature & wood workers! The Gift Shop was a buyers paradise because everything was unique & right on the money! When you finish walking all the trails you may even see BIGFOOT making a quick pit-stop in Pennsylvania!

AMAZING!! This was an awesome find I was not prepared for how beautiful Bushkill Falls really is! We did the Red Trail which is the most extensive but we did not see Bridle Falls we cut the trail at that point as we were out there for a couple of hours already lots of stairs so be prepared! Not terrible incline though with the stairs and I didn't feel like it was too much at any point. It is a beautiful walk and you are able to take as much time as you want going through it. Also there are four colored paths they are clearly marked along the way but you are able to kind of meander your way through and choose your own trail and level of exertion you would like to put forth. There are exit signs also to help you find your way out when ready. I cannot wait to go back again and explore even further this time! Just adding one more fact they do charge to go on the trail it is a little less expensive on weekdays but it's around $20 per person. Totally worth it!

My granddaughter (agree 11) and went, and enjoyed our experience. The area is very clean, staff was all friendly and welcoming. The hiking trails are clearly marked and give an excellent view from different perspectives of the many falls.

We kind of combined trails which were all easily walkable-but do have a "healthy amount" of steps. We did skip the most rugged trail.

The food was good and reasonably priced. The fudge and ice cream was a little pricy. We enjoyed the building that houses the history of Bushkill Falls, and there are two gift shops with varying price points.

It's important to now that we were there on a lovely day, and that there are no refunds for our weather.

It was an enjoyable afternoon.
Had a great time celebrating my great grandson's 11th birthday! Lots of friendly people enjoying the holiday weekend.
The restroom is only open for limited hours. Lots of toilet paper in the woods. $7 to use the rv dump station in addition to the camping fee. Nice shaded camp sites.
I won a free basket from them through Fever and it was so lovely! It included a tote bag and picnic blanket and the food was great. Not sure I would have paid the price of the same experience out of pocket, but the service was great.
If want a place to escape the fast life in the city 🏙️ than Waterloo county park is that place it's beautiful and relaxing scenery will provide you the escape you need to be one with nature. So come down and bring some of your friends or family go boating or even bring your dog 🐕and go for a walk down the trails of Waterloo.

Went to take my kids to the park and the place was a mess and the playground was closed! Not sure what all the hype is about...
Beautiful. Quiet. Wheelchair accessible. Dog Park. Camping. Covered Areas for gatherings. Play Structure. Bathrooms . Gorgeous water!
What a beautiful locale for a group or family cookout! We reserved Shelter B which was a perfect spot close to the restrooms and play area for the kiddos. There are some tables available and enough trees to offer refuge from the sun. You can bring in your grills, speakers for music, chairs and enjoy. The view is an added bonus❤️
My first time there for a family cook out. The park is awesome! I did not have to fight off mosquitoes. The scenery is so cool. This is a place where you can relax if you just want to be alone, if you want to be with your honey or with family. The perfect spot!

Wow, what an awesome place to really enjoy nature, relax, and get a great workout in. Bring sneakers and be prepared for a really good workout and day, one trail takes about 2 1/2 hours to do, definitely longer if your taking pictures. Plenty of beautiful views. Restrooms are clean. Great gift shop. They also have fudge store, and ice cream 🍦 shop. Highly recommend this place.

There is this little park you can see Airplanes departure/Arrival.

Maps= Plainview Park
We were blessed to have our family reunion under the shade trees at Picnic spot A. It was a 90 degree, hot summer day and the trees saved us from the heat. Great view of the airport side of the water.
What a wonderful experience at Bushkill Falls! Multiple waterfalls to see! Completed trails July 2023. Some of the trails have wooden steps with railings and still on a natural trail. Other trails were of a cleared path & and a few areas are moderately difficult. Definitely bring water, good footwear, breathable clothing & bug spray.

Loved this place, the trails are amazing, well maintained, and the fall is awesome with plenty of viewing station. Depending on your level, you can choose the trail that suits you. Green is the shortest and easiest, and red is the longest and hardest with one side uphill and the other side downhill. However, this is a paid hiking trail, so no matter what you choose, you have to pay for the entry fee, which is $20 for adults and $10 for 4 and above.
I had a wonderful time with friends enjoying a Shakespearen play at the park. Definitely bring your own food, beverages, blankets, and/or lawn chairs.

Warning! Keep small children and pets close by as the summer heat brings out all kinds of creatures and a few wild animal predators. During the afternoon, I saw a very large snake slither into one of the old zoo's cages.

Sandwiches are too small
Google says the store opens at 9 o’clock, but it actually opens at 10 o’clock. Please verify the opening time for your guests to arrange their schedules.
Love the great view to the statue of liberty 🗽.
You have comfortable places where you can sit in the shade of a tree to enjoy the view and eat a snack that you have brought. They have some restrooms nearby that are very clean. My favorite part is being able to enjoy the breeze here, especially on a hot day.

I bought the Gold Experience for two people from 6-8PM and because of unforeseen circumstances (crane caught on fire and crashed into a building causing major traffic) my partner and I arrived at 7:30 PM! We only had 30 minutes to enjoy the picnic, which was such a bummer

but I was communicated with properly by the employees through email as well as text, and my picnic was (without asking!) extended till 8:45 PM. Giving us an hour and 15 minutes to enjoy ourselves.

I was so thankful and glad, we watched the sunset and everything was right. An hour was genuinely MORE than enough to enjoy everything from the champagne to the incredible sandwiches and brownies they made. After that, we walked away from the picnic and strolled through Central Park. Awesome experience and customer service and staff and food. Expensive, but if you want a magical moment, well worth it.

Absolutely amazing! I was recommended by my hair dresser and it did not disappoint! The falls are beautiful and the trails/steps make it easier for my little ones to walk with us so they could experience hiking as well. The gift shop and Cafe are nice little areas to relax and grab a snack after a hot day (it was very humid when we went 😅 😄 )

Was there in April to show my daughter the city and found this place. Was not disappointed. You have got to try those deviled eggs!!! And also the best banana bread I’ve ever ate! Sorry grandma 👵.
If you want something a little more than your regular fair try this place. Nicest people you could want to meet!!!
The island is simply magical, you can do everything, from visit art galleries to a picnic. Love it, love it!!

One of the best public recreation spaces around. This is a big area that has everything. Open area with walking trails, a big lake, an ampitheatre, a nice wooden play structure, and a lot of pavilions. A lot of great events happen here in the summer. Splash pad that's decent, a bit on the smaller side but they have recently added some badly needed canopies for shade nearby.
During our recent visit to Bushkill Falls, my family embarked on an exciting adventure filled with stunning falls, numerous steps, and a well-maintained boardwalk.

Upon starting our chosen trail, we quickly realized that there were a significant number of steps to conquer along the way. While this may be challenging for some, it added an element of thrill and made us appreciate the natural beauty even more. Just be prepared for a bit of a workout!

One of the highlights of our visit was the well-maintained boardwalk. It offered a smooth and enjoyable walking experience, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the serene surroundings. The boardwalk's upkeep was commendable, making the journey both safe and visually pleasing.

Although the trails' intersections could benefit from improved signage, the overall experience was unforgettable. We cherished the small trek across the falls, with their captivating beauty captivating our senses. Nature lovers and photography enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities to capture breathtaking moments along the way.

Families with younger children should be aware that strollers are not allowed on the trails. However, the maze outside the trails provided a delightful diversion for our 6-year-old, adding an extra layer of fun to our day.

In conclusion, Bushkill Falls offers an exhilarating experience with its magnificent falls, challenging steps, and a pristine boardwalk. While some areas, such as the trail markings, could be improved, the natural beauty and the overall adventure make it a worthwhile destination for nature enthusiasts and families seeking outdoor excitement.
Favorite playground to bring my daughter's...we recently ate at sizzler then 14 of us took over the playground after dinner it was so fun!!!
A beautiful experience. As a Cultural Artist and creative I been visiting parts of the river to river art installations taking place in NYC. It's a remarkable experience. I actually went to governor's island for the 1st time and I was in awe how their are Artist and Creatives residing at the island...and they are all residence in a creative space for their talent to blend in full fruition .....so if your in NYC....do yourself a favor and take play in this experience. Atajà.......

This place is great. Bathrooms need more hand soap tho. When they refill, its out in like one day.
A great place to visit.... when you want to get out of the city for a while and it's just a ten minutes ferry ride.

Great spot with a good amount of open space and enough trees to grab a bit of shade. Far fewer tourists than more southern parks of the park.
This is a great place to visit with your family, especially for picnics and bonding. My son and nephews really enjoyed the slides. I enjoyed peddling a cart all over the island, and so did my husband and the boys. I look forward to camping 🏕 over night one of these days.
Loved the quiet, serenity of the grounds. Clean, well-kept, beautiful side view of the mountains and surrounding features!🤗

Heritage Park is a great place to spend a day with the family. There is something for everyone, from a splash park and playgrounds to sports fields and a sand volleyball court. The park is also home to an amphitheater, which hosts a variety of events throughout the year.
I especially love the splash park. It is a great place for kids to cool off on a hot day. There are plenty of water features to keep them entertained, including a giant bucket that dumps water on everyone below.
Really cool and well thought place. Worth stopping by, grabbing a bite and heading to CP West for a perfect Sunday morning
28 year years ago played for Phil Pote at this park. Won 1st time as a Head Baseball Coach here now Phil Pote Field.
If you're looking for a relaxing picnic day away from the city yet have a view of NYC and New Jersey City, Governors Island is the place to go! They have a spa for visitors to get a massage. They have sauna rooms, a swimming pool, and bicycles. Everything one needs to just relax. Even if you feel like grabbing a bite, they have a caffe right facing at NCY.
Beautiful place to be with family and kids. They have bathrooms and the parking is easier in the mornings. I gave 4 because it can be in better conditions and cleaner.
Excelenta area para hacer picnic y parrillas bbq, Bien acondicionado y super limpio tambien hay baños publicos cerca.

Overall, the course is absolutely amazing. It's well kept. The fairways are some of the best I've seen so far. It's not so much a bombers course. It's more contained and technical, the only reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is the baskets. The baskets are older style and loose fit ( loose chains ), and it seems to cause more disc spit outs. I drove an hour to get to it from Eugene, and I'll definitely be back.
I guess it's just a defunct military base? Def felt haunted. But QCNY spa was great!

I love this place! and YES! it’s a PERFECT place to get picnic bites! Lemonade is the best I ever had in NYC, the PERFECT ratio of sugar and lemon water. Their loaf bread is also incredibly good! chocolate or banana, I regret not getting the whole loaf!
The gentleman who attended us was so kind and friendly, very honest with the ingredients of his food and went out of his way to give me the ends of the loaf just because I said I love the crunchiness of it! He just made my day! 💖 I’ve been here several times before, food has always been good but this was the first time having the kind gentleman attending us.
Although this my first visit and with a destination I will return during the summer time to enjoy the grounds. This was a 10 m. Ride on the ferry from Manhattan. Views are spectacular. There seemed to a winter village going on . But I just went to QCNY spa and enjoyed a day of relaxation.

Great park with Wonderful scenery! The Christmas lights this year were cute and the kids really enjoyed the walk. We usually come here during the summer for fishing and different events Canton hosts. Been coming here since I was a kid so it's cool to share this with my kids now
The Park is beautiful, and peaceful. It's arranged well and has a large nice playground. I was there when it was packed, the restrooms and showers clean and serviced well.
Pictures are of Am HaSefer ( People of The Book) We met for a wonderful Sukkot ~Feast of Tabernacles. There were two beautiful Sukkah's!

A fairly nice, somewhat rustic, country park right on the river. Large campground with mostly water and electricity. Some sites have no hook-ups, but water is nearby everywhere in the campground. Play structure and disk golf are very popular. Fishing and water play are also popular activities in this park. Lots of old trees provide amble shade on hot and sunny days. A nice park to visit for a few days.
OMG, I haven't been to Hains point in years and it was great. The upkeep of the park has been awesome. My family and I had an awesome time. We ate, fished, and had great laughs. The weather was perfect. It was so good to be able to introduce my kids to a DC old classic and it not be ruined. Now, I wish they would re-vamp the mini golf place because it needs new greens. All in all...great day at Hains Point!

In this park there are 2 playgrounds, one of which is wooden and the other modern style. There is also a splash pad where children can have fun. Some shelters with benches, tables and barbecue grills can be rented for different occasions. Different events or concerts take place in this location. have fun!
Clean are and calm. You often see park personal driving around making sure everything is well. I recommend it.

Even if you have been to every corner of central park you should consider coming here at dusk to see the fireflies. Pack some snacks and grab a quiet spot on one of the lawns. After a few minutes you will notice the magical natural light show these amazing bugs out on every night. Both adults and kids were fascinated and had a great time watching the light show. Unfortunately my phone camera was not sophisticated enough to capture this, so you'll just have to come and see this for yourself.
Perfect during the week when it's practically vacant. The bathrooms were spotless, considering they were park bathrooms. We had a team event and rented a food truck and turned out great, the rangers were very helpful.
Well if you are looking for peace, this is the place. Must visit during early summer to see Cherry blossom here. This place is not much crowded as compared to the Tidal Basin Point. You can enjoy the serenity here for sure
The place is nice but weekends are like a zoo to much people specially in the summer times is horrible the parking and also to find a good spot.
Make sure if you are going for a picnic with friend or family on weekend leave early to get a good stop before the park over come very crowded that is normally any time after 10 am on Saturday and sundays in the spring and summer times.
Also make sure your bring your own toilet paper to used the bathroom in the park since they don't replace it to often but overall the park is very nice when is not to crowded at all.
I do recommend.

I just started working downtown and I paced this public space i thought it was really cool. I had a bit more time on my lunch break and wanted to use the bathroom there instead of holding it until I return to work. The front dress lady told me after I ask to use the restroom. They don’t let the public us the restrooms. And I was really confused because it says Public Space

Nice little hill/bunny slopes for kids pre- tweens even though there are some tweens after school. But "they" (everyone, not just kids) don't clean up after themselves.
Broken plastic sleds and cardboard and lids and various makeshift sleds parts everywhere.
Highlights, some local snow "artists" making Igloos, which is rad.

Great place to get away from the city without leaving the city. Restrooms are usually clean and well stocked with toiletries. There are beautiful grounds for everything from having a family cookout to fishing or a game of minuture golf. There's also a great clubhouse restaurant and a complete 18 hole golf course.

Is the one of the wonderful place for picnic at the Central Park.

Here you have on a higher ground so that you can have a good view to watch other people playing around

it is so enjoyable to having some sun bathing there so many Rock naturally scattered on the grassland , so find one and just relax to lie yourself on the rock and have your picnic food if you feel tired just have a nap.
Place has been pretty awesome so far. And some pretty spectacular views as you can see. Come see all DC has to offer with nature and wildlife included.
Big open area for bbq and family and young adults to play. Some people are not following the reservation system for bbq table. Those who came after would took the table of someone who was here waiting. I saw a black family just robbed a table from an indian family even through they came after. Some people arent civilized.
Muy buen lugar para pasar en familia.

Absolutely a beautiful place to visit. Located behind the fire department, police department, and library, you will find paved pathways to run, walk, or bike. With two nice ponds to sit by, you can watch the ducks swim in the water; or watch people fish. There is also a beautiful pavilion where, nice pictures can be taken at; or just stand around and take in one of the ponds.

There is also a playground and splash pad for the kids. So if you have kids, take a day to bring them there during the summer.

There is also a beautiful and heartfelt memorial for some of our brave young men and woman who served our country proudly. Take a minute and stop by to pay your respects, to those who gave their all so we can be safe and free. My condolences to all of those who have, lost a loved one who once served our country. I am a Granddaughter to a late Army Grandfather, who was awarded a Purple Heart while fighting in the Korean War; I am also a niece, a sister, and a friend to many who have and still are serving.

God bless all of you, and thank you for your service.

Sledding in the winter and outdoor movies in the summer, is there a better place in this world? Honestly this is THE locals hill. The top of the hill has an epic view of the city and the hill side is the best place for early sunbathing. When it snows tho 😍 come at night cause the hill will be filthy with children runny into each other. You don't want to get sued by an UES mom...

My favorite spot for getting a little bit of work done when on the road.
Had a great experience. My first time watching a movie in an outdoor seeing like this. I guess it's sorta like the drive in but a definitely different experience. My little one didn't like how loud it was at first but we were sitting pretty close to the speakers. I didn't know they had a particular chair height the recommended and ours were too high so we had to move out of the way for lower chairs behind us. Now I know, I'll get smaller ones for events like this. The food trucks were awesome also. Great mix and selection of food
