Nice place to hang out on a weekend night... nice vibes along the coast. I like to check out railroad history. There usually is more 😎

Nice slice of Railroad history for those interested. This is the remains of the Ticket Booth for the New Castle and Frenchtown Railroad from 1832.

Es un buen lugar para ir a caminar en verano, correr hacer bike, yoga o simplemente pasar un rato agradable, hay estacionamiento público

This historic ticket booth in New Castle's Battery Park dates to 1832. For a brief period, the train line serviced by this ticket booth provided the best connection between Philadelphia and Baltimore. Later used as a flagman's booth, it's been located in the park since the 1950s.

Gorgeous walk!

Not much here beyond the ticket booth in the picture for but the location surrounding is very beautiful

Site of one of the first operational railroads in the United States. Very little here except a restored or replica ticket booth and rails on the ground enclosed by a picket fence. It is unclear if the rails are original or replicas as well.
