The Southern Adirondack Library System is the high water mark of civilization. I can find a book from tens of thousands online in every subject imaginable being held in any of nearly thirty libraries and order it and it will be sent from whichever library has it. I get a call from my local library that it is in. I go pick it up and when done, drop it off. The system is flawless, effortless to use and a genuine blessing for anyone who wants to learn or just read for fun.
