Nice place, very clean. The staff are awesome, they treat you with respect & understanding.

There were very strange little moles doing very weird things. The soup and sandwich is "coal food" it's synthetic food made of hydrocarbons found in coal or peat moss...the maple syrup is an illusion from the otherworldly

DO NOT DONATE!!!! Another place falsely collecting funds and only helping homeless MALES. Homeless 4.5 years now and turned away from any help multiple times. The only women they help are referred by state organizations. They get money from the state and donations from the community to shun homeless women so cruel and maliciously they cause more harm than good.

There is a tremendous need in this horrible economy to help these family's .
I was totally amazed at how many families were being fed!
Housing is a particular problem for women.
The mission does a Wonderful job helping to feed them!!

Wonderful place and programs to help those down on their luck. They offer meals if you're hungry and give out food also. Staff are all friendly.

So, just left the mission. I pray that all those men make it through this epidemic. I was 1 of 2 guys who went out and worked every day. I was confronted about possibly infecting the mission because I was seen at Walmart where I was purchasing disinfectant because every resident jumps into the showers with no sign of any type of disinfectant in the bathroom and seeing the bathrooms cleaned with no disinfectant. I would buy my own and come in sprayed my shower down. No own seemed to care. Brandon told me to inform him if there was none available but the attendants didn’t seem to care so I just looked out for me. It seems they were following the Presidents thoughts and actions towards this epidemic because within the last 2 weeks masks were given out and after the state said to stay at home, they said the same thing. My point is they should have been more proactive in their apparent attempts to protect the residents. They should have seen the current administrations effort were lacking and made greater steps to protects the residents. They didn’t. After being told I had to justify my movement while working. I decided to leave after feeling I was at risk around people I had seen vomiting in the bathroom and not practicing the basics like social distancing or covering their mouths while coughing or sneezing. They do nothing unless pushed. That was evident from my conversation with Brandon this afternoon and his voicemail stating that I wasn’t going to jeopardize the mission with my actions. Even though while I was out I constantly adhered to the federal government’s guidelines.

It's an honor to help an organization who has blessed so many. Pastor Stone and his precious family are still very involved. Devon and Brandan are in charge of the mission these days, and it has come far since them giving their TLC, along with the board, and numerous volunteers. I support this ministry because the majority of their men (and now, women) have a sincere desire to change...so they abide by chores, attendance of Bible Studies and other functions, as well as curfew, etc. to make a positive change. My mama and many precious friends have given unselfish hours and years of service as the ladies of the mission. I applaud our many newcomers who have helped to lighten the load of the men cooking and serving the community meal each evening. We appreciate our nurses who spend many Wed evenings there to counsel the men regarding their health issues and medications. God is so good to continue to bless the ministry at the Winchester Rescue Mission.❤
