It's interesting to walk around and see all of the abandoned storefronts. There are still a fair amount of stores that are open, but the online directory is definitely not up to date. I loved the trees and plants throughout the main parts of the mall.

Been coming here from time to time since I was a kid so the place is nostalgic for me. However the place hasn't gotten an update in YEARS. I mean, it's a blast from the past, and for some people that's part of the attraction. It's also quiet. But most stores have either went out of business, or are about to. Hell, the saving grace of that mall for me personally was always Spencer's and FYE. And both of those will be gone by 2025! I'd say it's not long until this mall is long gone. 😢

This place has fallen. Although, nothing like Christiana Mall, corcord was an active and packed place (2000s). Now it's lost flagship stores and is predominantly empty. To me it felt like a step-up from a farmers market. The owners/ management need to come up with a strategy for the future (expansion, remodeling, etc.)....something to attract shoppers and businesses. I get it, malls are struggling nationwide, but the successful ones adapted. Location is everything, and concord mall is in a prime / great location. The current vision and strategy needs changing. I see lots of potential. Not all malls become obsolete.

It’s a shame how fast that Concord Mall has gone down. Don’t know who the new owners are but you can tell they’re not fully Americans no American flags no maintenance no Christmas lights. Nothing that mall has totally gone down within a few years if I could give it zero stars at what it would be, really shame on how bad it is

Food court now limited seating. Management saw fit to remove about 1/2 seating to give it to Chick-fil-A further down the mall. Now the 4 food venders have limited seating for their customers. Good suposedly christian restaurant stealing from poor competitors. Sure won't use that Chick-fil-A. And they moved seating out into mall so mall workers can clean up and they reduce staff.

Concord Mall located at 4737 Concord Pike
Wilmington, DE 19803 is a freestanding mall that is a rarity these days as many malls have closed, due to online shopping, and the general cost of running a mall. Concord has a good variety of stores and food eateries as well. Macy’s and Boscov‘s are the anchor stores. Mine enclosed photos are of the Best Buy in the next parking lot.

Oh man, the Concord Mall isn't what it used to be. It's like a couple of empty storefronts away from being a ghost town. It's sad, honestly, seeing half of the shops shuttered or worse, out of business.
The remaining shops? Super random. Like, there's a penny candy store, a beauty supply shop, and even have an office for the Mall itself (which is pretty telling if you ask me).
The food court hasn't grown any bigger, but at least it wasn't crowded. That's the silver lining I guess, you can shop in peace because it's extremely quiet. The big stores like Boscovs and Macys are still around and you still get a lunch rush at the food court, but without those, it would look like the Blue Hen Mall in Dover.
I'll probably visit again because it's chill and a nice change of pace from the chaos at Christiana, but honestly, in terms of shops, it doesn't even come close.
