A smart and well organised station with friendly and helpful staff, superb customer information screens and signage and comfortable waiting rooms with ample charging points for mobile phones.

Jade and Carl that helped me book a taxi after a missed connection late at night and chose to stay with me an extra 10 minutes to make sure I got home safely !!

Very clean, great level of car parking. Connections into KGX in around an hour and a quarter.

Metheringham and always have problems with East Midlands trains to Newark or Doncaster. The LNER staff at Newark are always helpful in helping me adjust journey and getting on earlier train's if needed . Big Thanks for being so accommodating.

This was a fantastic station to both arrive and depart at, harboring a beautiful vintage design! The platforms are appropriately sized for trains, the station sign is clear and information is readily available. Exiting through the bridge is easy, cleanliness had been maintained and a map for the station is rather interesting!
First time travelling from here. Absolutely lovely staff and facilities. Staff very helpful. Nothing too much trouble and all done with a smile. Luke put suitcase on the train for me. Showed me where my seat was. On return journey again he took my case and made sure I had a taxi. Lovely guy. Would definitely recommend travelling from this station. Thank you.
Cafe could do with a little bit of an upgrade but otherwise serviceable station
