Born 2 Swim Aquatic Survival Academy

I don’t know where to start. This place hast been like a second home to my son. He starts around a year old and has been going 2 times a week for the last year and a half. He started of crying as it was something new, as a new time mom and with a child that is not much of a crying baby I panicked. Lexi and her team guided me through the process and made me feel secure that I was doing the right thing. And boy I am so glad I heard. My son not only loves the water now, but he has the tools to survive if he ever fell in. I have been blessed to be able to bring my son to this establishment and encourage anyone who is thinking of starting to do it! You don’t realize how important it is for them to know and learn these skills until you see the hard and dedicated work this amazing team puts into every class to provide your kids with the right tools. It’s phenomenal and everyone who sees my son in a pablin pool swimming and jumping off edges at 2 years old and coming back up and floating is amazed. A big thank you to the born 2 swim family team members for such a dedicated team work.

My daughter started here March 2024, in just about 5 months she has become so confident with being in the water, and has learned the basics of swimming. My daughter is a tough little girl, strong personality that can be very hard headed at times, but was able to learn, adjust and really grasp the basic swimming and floating structure at just 2 going to 3 years old. I’m beyond grateful for Born 2 Swim, the staff are incredible and a special mention to Emma for being so patient with my little and showing her so much care throughout her experience. Thank you guys so much!

I am so grateful that we found Born 2 Swim for our 4 babies, ages 4 & under. My older 3 kiddos (4 & 3 years old) have graduated survival lessons and are now learning stroke techniques. To see them become confident and safe swimmers has been amazing. My youngest (18 months) can independently swim, float, swim to safety. She has become so comfortable in the water and has a blast in her lessons.

Yazmin, the owner, is truly the best. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and she has the resources to personalize lessons for each individual child. She has formed an amazing team of experienced instructors. Not only are these people great swim instructors, they are also great people. They sincerely care for every single person who walks through their doors.

It can be overwhelming to find swim instructors you can trust. Born 2 Swim is hands-down the place to go if you want your child to become a safe and confident swimmer. Forever grateful to them for teaching my babies these lifesaving skills! I recommend them to everyone I meet.

My son has been in Born2Swim since he was just a little under 1 and he is now 3 and I can hands down say this was the best decision ever. He knows how to swim float swim with ease and everytime I go to the pool with him I am impressed of how comfortable he is under water and how well he has learned to swim. I have just recently put my 1 year old as well and I am excited to see her learn with the instructors at Born2Swim.

Since my daughter was ten months old, she has been attending Born2Swim. I am much more confident in her swimming skills and ability to overcome any water-related situations. The staff is very helpful, and she loves the water.

As a Florida native and mom, there’s nothing more heartbreaking than the horror stories you hear over the years of little ones in a water-related situation. We enrolled our daughter in Born 2 Swim with just one expectation, that she’ll learn how to swim. A year later not only has she exceeded our expectation but she has learned patience, made mistakes that were quickly corrected and fixed, gained confidence, courage, and bonded with some amazing teachers. A year into the program and we are believers of Yazmin’s method of learning aquatic survival skills first, the swimming part comes after. So since we’ve had a very positive experience with our oldest, our youngest will also be joining the Born 2 Swim family. We are grateful for Matthew, Emma and Mari for the patience and confidence they transmitted to my daughter and to me. Lexi and Yazmin, you ladies know what you are doing. Simply the best!!
