David is truly an amazing craftsman and restorer of fine furniture. We bought a spectacular Macassar ebony and brass inlay sideboard about 6 years ago while visiting Florida. We'd been looking at them online for awhile, but in person, they are even more beautiful than the photos suggest. We enjoyed choosing it from among the many extraordinary pieces at French Art Deco, and it arrived at our home in the Boston area in perfect condition.

This is one of our most prized pieces of art - it is not just a sideboard. Everyone who sees it falls in love with it, and we enjoy it every day.

But David is also an exceptionally kind and generous businessman who remembers his customers as friends. During our recent move, somehow one of the unusual, speciality brass shelf pins went missing. I reached out to David who sent me several replacements, free of charge. Six years later!

David Hugon is a business owner who’s attention to detail is exquisite. I have purchased antiques from all over the United States and Europe and his quality and passion is unsurpassed. I recently purchased a buffet from him and the piece is quite large. Due to an issue with the shipping company, David and his son drove the piece personally to my home in 22 hours away.
