Living in Tel Aviv, where the choice of restaurants and coffee shops is wide and pleasant, it is very difficult to find a good and interesting place in Jerusalem. Here it is! Hidden in a quiet corner of the city, in a historic building, under a silent pergola, there is this little gem of gastronomy, with a vintage style that wants to tell us the value of real flavors, with attention to the highest quality ingredients, well combined between them. There are many original and creative dishes, such as hot sweet and sour lemon poppy cake with cheese, garlic and herbs. Sara advised and helped us in a difficult choice because I would have tasted all the dishes! The cheeses and the bread are amazing. The dishes are beautifully presented and even those known, as shakshouka, are then made with a different twist. The menù is wide, the place inside is delightful, with many products to buy. Impossible to go away without shopping there to take home. I finally found my place in Jerusalem after years.

Super cute cafe and shop. Really great quality products to buy and tasty food too. The service is always great too. Recommended both as a deli/shop and as a cafe.

The atmosphere on Friday was extremely unpleasant. There was a sense of atomic pressure, congestion, and an abundance of "passive-aggressive" behavior from both the staff and the customers. I came to work and almost left in tears; the place is simply not accessible for someone dealing with social anxiety. The inflated prices are not justified. It's preferable to get takeout or find a corner in the nearby supermarket to escape and eat "hipster food" if the urge arises. The most difficult part was dealing with a sour-faced lady who occupied the well-preserved spots for the benefit of a friend who hadn't arrived yet. I escaped for the sake of my sanity, and of course, there wasn't a vacant socket to charge my laptop.

My good friend Mike Moritz worked there, and I am dying to go to eat this wonderful food. Hello to Arieh and the whole team at the MESHEK. I will visit soon. Shalom Javerim

Great lunch experience. We took the 'the entire farm to the table for three'. Great unique dishes. Good service. Lots of fun.

We had a great time. Although the restaurant was full the service was very accommodating and the wait was short until we got a table.
The food was ingenuitive and delicious. The service was excellent and very pleasant. A little busy but understandable considering it's Friday morning ☺️
Thank you for a great experience, can't wait for the next time 😊

Amazing produce. Delicious cheeses, pastries, condiments, breads and vegetables. Really friendly service too. The bread pudding was a little bit undercooked on the inside but still delicious. Lots of produce and specialty food items to buy and take home.
