A typical day during a holiday, the restaurant wasn't busy, and yet the service was not as expected with attension to us as customers.
The food wasn't that tasety "benoni" and "tafel" unfortunately.
Closed on Shabbats now! :(

We waited to be seated at the front desk and were greeted by an extremely rude man who led us to a small table in the corner. We were then given water with filthy glasses and then waited 25 mins with absolutely no service from any of the waiters so got up and went to the restaurant opposite called Rova where we were greeted with a smile and the food was incredible there. I would highly recommend going to rova instead of this place!

We got the breakfast for two people that came with a drink included. Everything was delicious and the granola at the end made for a nice sweet bite to end it all. Coffee was good too. Its a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

The place has young and cheerful atmosphere, dishes are served quickly even during rush hours and the waiters are very friendly. We ordered three dishes. The Salmon Bagel was fine, having a generous slice of Salmon, but had nothing special otherwise. The other two dishes were too simple and boring, and not very tasty.

It used to be a very nice place to sit in before going to the old city. But now the food tastes bad, prices increased significantly, while the food quality and amounts also decreased significantly. We ordered the Israeli breakfast, stay away. Bread was dry and not fresh, the spreads just tasted bad and the salad was a joke - few leaves in a bowl. Very bad experience.

Wonderful place in which you can relax, spend good time, eat and drink very well.
I suggest this place in Jaffa, one of the most beautiful area of Tel Aviv.
The experience was very good also thanks to Bar, the nice attendant that served us.

Overpriced, bad service.
I do not recommend the shakshuka; it was made with what tasted like canned tomatoes with no spices added.

The front of the shop works better than the sit down restaurant. Good coffee and pastries to take out. The restaurant is where it all falls apart. Impossible to order an egg without ordering the full breakfast. Annoying. That type of service will lead me to never return to a restaurant. At least we can say we tried it…

Cute breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in a neighborhood. You will most likely have to wait, but it moves quick and is worth it. Coffee is 👌 and food is great too. Traditional israelí breakfast was amazing.

A delicious brunch spot, I got the green matbucha with extra bread which was perfect mix of salt and veggies, and the bread dips were insanely good. We were outside and the relaxing atmosphere and great music added to the experience!

This is my favourite restaurant while staying in Jerusalem. The food is to die for and the staff are the nicest people ever and so helpful with any questions you have. The overall atmosphere is just amazing and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Many thanks

The service was terrible. First they brought the wrong order and then argued with us about it. After talking to 2 waiters and then a manager, they finally agreed to bring the correct order. It took almost 1/2 hour to actually bring it out. They finally brought our water out after another 10 minutes. The waitstaff seemed to be purposely ignoring us.
It is hard to hit a lowest bar in service among Israeli restaurants - but this time they managed to do it. We waited for a table, when it was ready and the hostess called us - but when we reached the table she came back and told the following sentence- ‘manager told not to Let anyone else because it is too busy” - there were about 8 free tables ) then I asked to see that manager- when a lady came in couple of minutes she had no idea what is going on - I asked the hostess to repeat what she told me, apparently there was another manager and not her who gives instructions. And the end lady who came just waved her hands at us and said if you don’t like it you can go”) just like this -
You are welcome to spend there your money if your like to be treated like trash
Food is sometimes tastes like it was frozen and premade by the way there - I have visited it before, it is one of few non-kosher places at the Train station that is opened on Shabbat and has seating areas for a bigger groups

The food is perfect, the waitress needs a lesson in how to provide service, especially as tips are EXPECTED. First we were dumped on a table by the road, then when I asked politely if we could move I got "yeah, wherever"
I also saw the same waitress put water from customer glasses back in the water carafe! Do not drink the water. Food 10/10 service 1/10 as I at least got what I ordered ....
I think if you're local then you'll get looked after, if not don't expect much, shame as tourism is a big part of Israeli income, that and our Tech Companies

Best Cafe in the world. Nothing compares to the type of foods, execution is unparalleled. This is by far #1 and then there is everyone else.
Living in Tel Aviv, where the choice of restaurants and coffee shops is wide and pleasant, it is very difficult to find a good and interesting place in Jerusalem. Here it is! Hidden in a quiet corner of the city, in a historic building, under a silent pergola, there is this little gem of gastronomy, with a vintage style that wants to tell us the value of real flavors, with attention to the highest quality ingredients, well combined between them. There are many original and creative dishes, such as hot sweet and sour lemon poppy cake with cheese, garlic and herbs. Sara advised and helped us in a difficult choice because I would have tasted all the dishes! The cheeses and the bread are amazing. The dishes are beautifully presented and even those known, as shakshouka, are then made with a different twist. The menù is wide, the place inside is delightful, with many products to buy. Impossible to go away without shopping there to take home. I finally found my place in Jerusalem after years.

Amazing staff and service, wonderful special food. The atmosphere was quiet and calm. Although we went for dinner this time, we took a peek at the breakfast menu, and we can definitely day that we will be back soon! The desert was great as well.
Super cute cafe and shop. Really great quality products to buy and tasty food too. The service is always great too. Recommended both as a deli/shop and as a cafe.

I can't give 0 stars. The service was 🗑. The food was subpar (seasoning is not on the menu) neither is half of lunch/dinner menu available at 3:30pm. 1 staff member who actually was trying to check the entire restaurant. We had a table of 4. Waited literally 40 minutes for the 4th persons food to come out & we were avoided like the plague when we tried to ask about the 4th plate. Had to hunt someone down to get the ✔️ & then had to stand at kiosk to pay. Was then told tip not included for someone who did nothing.

The atmosphere on Friday was extremely unpleasant. There was a sense of atomic pressure, congestion, and an abundance of "passive-aggressive" behavior from both the staff and the customers. I came to work and almost left in tears; the place is simply not accessible for someone dealing with social anxiety. The inflated prices are not justified. It's preferable to get takeout or find a corner in the nearby supermarket to escape and eat "hipster food" if the urge arises. The most difficult part was dealing with a sour-faced lady who occupied the well-preserved spots for the benefit of a friend who hadn't arrived yet. I escaped for the sake of my sanity, and of course, there wasn't a vacant socket to charge my laptop.

I have never left a review for a restaurant, good or bad. However, this restaurant deserves one. I’m not even going to start with the blatantly loud music to the point you can’t hear the person next to you or sub par food. The staff took nearly 20 minutes to come to our table to ask if we wanted anything or even water. Then, upon ordering (drinks, appetizer, 2 plates) the food and service appeared to fly out of thin air and the appetizer was delivered within 5 minutes. The appetizer deservingly so but one of the main plates proceeded to come out 30 seconds after, sincerely the saddest dinner I have ever had. Cold and overcooked, really really seemed like it was sitting there for a while and it came out of convenience. Then, the other plate came 40 minutes later. Not only we’re we met with an “issue with the dish” 20 minutes in because dietary restrictions were forgotten upon being stressed but, they messed it up when it finally came out. At this point the night was forgotten and this restaurant has dropped to the absolute bottom of any list. I wish I could at least say the drinks were good but they never came out despite asking the waiter twice where the drinks were. I have had some incredible food and hospitality all around the work and especially while eating in israel but this restaurant legitimately does not care about either or anything at all. From the chefs to the waiters to the hostess, the restaurant business is not for you.

Good food, great vibes, but bipolar service. Last outing there was for brunch. Got the smoked salmon bagel gluten-free. Since they didn't have gluten free bagels, it came out as a deconstructed version of the dish, with gluten free bread on the side. Busy on weekends, but a good place to hang out with your laptop to work/study on weekdays during the day unless you there during lunch hours.

I don’t really understand what is going on with the prices in Israel. But anyways.. Shakshooka and Tray was like 65 ILS. Both dishes were super fresh and tasty. So we enjoyed food a lot!
Just americano was not great… just like regular supermarket coffee. The price was 12 ILS for the small cup.
So the place is definitely nice, good atmosphere, delicious food..
But if it overpriced or not I let your guys decide by yourself☺️
Got a tuna salad. The Avocado was rotten and and potatoes frozen from the inside. Don't come here. Asked to replace the Avocado. Had to ask many times in order for them to comply.

A big choice of breakfast dishes as well as regular menu. We tried crispy chicken sandwich and Mesahan (chicken on the bread with tahini and species). Both dishes were huge, we didn’t manage to finish it. The sandwich was nothing special, came with a spicy sauce - I would not recommend to take it. Mesahan was very unique mix of tastes and spices, we’ve never tried anything like this. It was also very filling and good for sharing.

The place was full on Friday afternoon, all tables outside were taken. Amazing vibes and a lovely view on a busy Dizengoff street.

A sweet small coffee shop and restaurant that is not located in the center of Jerusalem but had a cousy atmosphere, great coffee and yummy food.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Dizengoff, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere that immediately made me feel comfortable and welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was particularly impressed with the shakshuka with feta and the toast with gouda and buche cheese. It's not surprising that Cafe Dizengoff is a popular destination, as the food and atmosphere are both great. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a warm and inviting setting.

Would recommend for a nice brunch. We went on a busy Shabbat morning and they said the wait would be ages but it didn’t take long. I ordered the egg salad bagel and gf ordered the workers breakfast. Both were great. I also had a nice carrot juice. Would recommend buying the eggplant extra
We went here for a birthday brunch and we were not disappointed! My foodie friend even got emotional when the feast was laid in front of him. The best part was that you could even buy some of the delicious dips and sauces and take them home with you.

Friendly service. However the cappuccino was quite bland and watery. Maybe they can't do proper coffee. The salmon bagel was quite chewy. Overall disappointing. Nice location though.
Cosy and clean place with nice outside area. Friendly staff. But, if you are real coffee lover - I wouldn’t recommend the place. Because coffee tastes not so much good, like really cheap one, however small black americano costs ₪14.
And, if you’re in rush - the place not for you as well, really relaxed and slow service. Some customers are being served out of turn

Very nice place! I enjoyed a great breakfast with my sister!! All was so delicious and freshly made!!
Ordered two cakes and a lemon pie. They contacted me in no time answering a query I have. Everything arrived in excellent shape and nicely packaged. Lemon pie was deemed wonderful. The rest looks very nice too. Will order again.
There's an big shortage in good patisserie in the neighborhood. The market demands low cost kosher sugar coated junk. These guys do not compromise or sell short.
And so, if you desire a good pastry, or an emergency need for a good cake. That's the place to go. Thank you Parash. It's not easy!!

The place gives off a great vibe and very trendy atmosphere but unfortunately the customer service isn't that great. The waiter was a young kid who came to the table once to take the order and never returned. It's a small place and my order sat at the kitchen window for over 10 minutes with every waiter passing by and not picking it up. The waiter seen my plate in just went off and sat on another table with his friends and completely ignored it . At one point I was just going to get up and serve myself. I was debating whether to give 2 or 3 stars but stayed on giving 3 because I hope they improve.

Don't worry if the place is full, it took only few minutes till we got our table. The food is very good and price is average. The cold coffee is excellent.

The first problem is that there is no parking close to the cafe. The second problem was that, although I ordered a cup of coffee before the meal, the person who makes the coffee was taking a cigarette break, so I had to remind them that I ordered the coffee.

The food was good, but not exceptional so. The service needed to be better. When we asked for the bill, my wife wanted to ask for a toothpick but the waitress just dropped the bill on the table and disappeared. I had to get my wife a toothpick from another table.

We won't be back there any time in the future.

now the bad... I wanted coffee americano with cold soy milk on the side... they charge 3 shekels(!!!!) for COLD SOY MILK on the side !!!!!

No such charge exists for cow's milk... it is a special tax for those of us who can't digest or choose not to consume cow's milk

What stood out most to me was the friendly and attentive service by the host. He was genuinely friendly and caring.
Please note that they have a "happy hour" on alcoholic beverages as well as a special lunch menu from noon till 4pm.

Ups and downs here. Last night was a falling down cliff not a down hill walk. Everything that reached our table was bad (the waitress was sort of OK and so were the seats).

Let me start with the stupidest. If someone orders club soda and there is no Ice and it is lukewarm, what are the people in the kitchen thinking?

There were three different types of bread served. Each was semi-warm and semi- stale.

The soup rated a one spoonful tasting.

The pasta dish was warm (as in not hot). It did not tickle my taste buds.

And the Caesar salad….. How many ways can a basic dish bed made made.

One good thing: the iPad menus gave been scrapped. They were too heavy to avoid snatching. They were replaced with dirty cardboard.

When I mentioned all of this to someone on the wait staff as we were leaving, the reaction was a non-verbal “So what?”

What a shame, this was the closest restaurant to our house.

Worst breakfast I've encountered in a while! 132 shekels for a double breakfast with portions for two people, extremely slow service and the food wasn't great either.
Apperently they've also ran out of oranges, apple and carrot juices so you only remain with a sugary lemonade.
Extremely overpriced and not worth the price,
They're also short on staff and it's very noticeable
Nice and cozy local cafe.
Good food and service.

Hire more staff!! Wow, what a shock. We waited 20 minutes for coffee, 40 minutes for cold food. The waitress barely paid attention, cause they have so much to do. Call the manager over cause of the cold expensive food, no apology, nothing. So we asked for the check cause I didnt want to waste any more time there. Honestly such a shame, it could be so much better. I was tempted to tell all of the people waiting for a table to leave. The owners of Greg should know about this really !!

We have been to few places in Jerusalem and this is for sure one of our top places: cool air condition inside or fresh Jerusalem air in the evening outside. We notified our waiter of a peanut allergy and they made us feel very secured and assured a safe meal.

Verdict: skip with prejudice.

Disclaimer: this my own experience; your own may differ.
We had a somewhat late lunch. The service is good, the waitresses are helpful and friendly.
I've had the chestnut ravioli in a mushroom cream sauce, while she had the "Dandos" salad.
The ravioli felt mushy and may have been overcooked. The mushrooms slices were not fully cut, and several slices clunked together across the dish.
The salad did not feel overly fresh, and we've found a chunk of tomato with rotten puncture on the skin. The fried haloumi in the salad had a weird taste to it I unfortunately cannot properly describe.
The worst part of my experience was around the coffee - I've ordered the affogato, which, for some reason is offered with three scoops of ice cream (good) and whiskey (not good). The seeming person in charge assured me this is an afogatto.
Don't get me wrong, I am far from an expert on drinks. But even a cursory look through Google shows that afogatto includes only espresso and vanilla ice-cream, and in addition could contain liquor (usually chocolate). There is indeed an Irish afogatto, that includes whiskey, but it is clearly designated as "Irish".
We were charged NIS 65 for one cappuccino and one afogatto + tip, making this either the most expensive cups of coffee I've had, or nearly so. The lunch itself (excluding the coffee) cost NIS 151 (including the tip).
The experience is hardly worth it, the food unfortunately is not up to standards, and while the service staff is friendly, this is hardly worth your money.

Nice little Jerusalem style cafe, if you’re in the area. Good atmosphere, great variety of cakes on Friday, note that the parking on the street outside is not free until Friday at 1pm.
Parish is tucked into a corner of a small shopping court in a less-traveled neighborhood of Jerusalem, Kiryat Yovel. My mother and I had a well-crafted salad including beets cheese and candied nuts, a salmon sandwich and an interesting cheese mousaka- and somehow managed to hold off from indulging in the fantastic array of patisserie delights that were a feast for the eye, and which the nurse in the ear clinic and a passing local tour guide, Rebecca Nokrian, said were worth coming for. I highly recommend a visit. The service was most pleasant as well.' Bat-el was our waitress. There were different kinds of people, people speaking at least three different languages besides Hebrew, families out to be together, businessmen talking, a young husband and wife get-together in a busy day- everyone enjoying themselves. indoor and outdoor seating.

Amazing produce. Delicious cheeses, pastries, condiments, breads and vegetables. Really friendly service too. The bread pudding was a little bit undercooked on the inside but still delicious. Lots of produce and specialty food items to buy and take home.
If you are in Jerusalem. And if your soul desires to taste the Garden of Eden. this is the place !! Every cookie is just a dream. Any other fantasy cake. do not miss . A tradition of years, Borax in a variety of burdens. Special dishes are well done.

This is my first visit to this cafe. We came for a meeting and for this purpose the place is a good one. A little off center and quiet. Parking space was a struggle and service was slow. The coffee shop has nice vibes but the food and drinks were a letdown.

Coffee was good.
Food is interesting.... I ordered from the specials: mediterranean sea fish with tahini souce and salad. Would I come for seconds? Definitely not! Food was either over seasoned or bland. Dessert was just ok.
Roladin didn't justify its reputation.
Service same as food: some servers are attentive and some moseyltly ignore you. Tables are not cleaned between guests. New guests are being sitted when a table is vacated without being wiped clean. I've noticed this happening repeatedly with four different tables. (Yuck!)
View is amazingly, but that's Jerusalem, not the place....
Lovely coffee shop with great confectionery. Quite pricey though.
You can order a nice meal and eat outside (almost no tables inside).
Or you can order a take away. My usual choice - a box with the mixture of all their available cookies and biscuits, a bit of everything, all of them tasty.
Vegan options available! Delicious food, lots of options. The food is fresh and suitable for breakfast, lunch, coffee and so on.. The service is a bit slow but the waiters are nice and kind. Not a cheap place, but also not very expensive. Nice atmosphere. A bit disappointing that the soy milk is extra money...

great simple cheese and veg based food, (salad and quiche type of deal) catering mainly to the hebrew u academic crowd whose neighborhood this is.
Be warned: at lunchtime this place becomes a day care center

Calm comfortable neighborhood Cafe. Their Banana crumble is a decadent indulgence, enough for 2 people. Good coffee. I will come back.
