There is no entrance fee to access the arboretum but you need to pay $8.00 for parking. Overall, worth the visit. There are several gardens, green houses and buildings you can visit. The property is very well kept and it expands over a large area. Would recommend putting on some bug repellent.

Very pretty! Beautiful flowers and enjoyed the walk. We didn't use them, but there are several benches throughout the arboretum to sit on if you need a break.

Beautiful place for a family day, friend date, regular date, solo date, picnic, plein air painting, or photoshoot! I think I even saw the end of a proposal.

Parking is somewhere between $8 - $10 and the self-guided tour of Coe Hall, the beautiful mansion on the property, was $10. There is also a guided tour available during the week, but on Saturdays it is self guided. There were some very nice volunteers in the mansion that offered information about the house and the family so it wasn't entirely a solo tour :).

There is also a cafeteria on the property, two gorgeous green houses, and two cute cottages that you should not miss, and I believe they sometimes have special events.

Very first time here, the Orchid society was hosting a festival here and it was absolutely beautiful. Randomly did a tour of the mansion hosted by Carole who did an amazing job! Would love to come back and see more throughout the seasons.

We visited Planting Fields Arboretum in May 2023. The parking fee ($8) is reasonable. Planting Fields is renowned for its magnificent gardens, featuring a diverse collection of plants, flowers, and trees. At the heart of Planting Fields is the historic mansion called Coe Hall. If you enjoy outdoor activities and exploring nature, Planting Fields offers several scenic nature trails. It's a destination that offers something for everyone, whether you're seeking tranquility, inspiration, or a deeper understanding of Long Island's heritage.

We paid only 8$ for parking. unfortunately building was closed and we couldn’t not go inside, but we walked around garden and yard. Before you go there make sure everything is open and don’t repeat my mistake..
quiet and nice place❤️ Not crowded at all💚💙This is one of my best gate-away places from NYC❤️
