Worst experience a I have, I asked medium a I received well we’ll done after waiting more 1 hour. I not receive a single sorry by the manager. The waiter was super attentive. This place never more.

New ownership, Terrible food, reheated leftovers, also very dark and loud inside, like a lame hole in the wall pub.

This place used to be clean, well lighted, great service, fresh food and packed with lively customers. Now it’s a dump.

The restaurant is under new management.  I expected a change, yet customer service is great as always. The food tastes awesome. And the portions are big. If there is an ingredient in the menu that is not of your liking they are very accommodating. Eating at the bars is like being with family. Very good food, still Portuguese, but now a new addition is the Brazilian cuisine. They make us feel like home. The price is very accessible. My waiter was Jozimar and he was really very attentive.

I've been going to this restaurant for the past 34 years. The food is just inexplicable good, fresh, delicious and the service is exceptional at all points!!!!
if you ever in Newark for any reason, you must go to this place.

The food here is really good and the price is very good too. However the service was quite slow and the staff messed up my order. I wish the server had been more attentive. Besides that little mishap the service was pretty good.

This place has really good home style Portuguese food. The portions are large. I come here again and again for the sangria and shrimp. The sauce is so good. The goat was a portion that could feed a family. The broccoli rabe is cooked perfectly. Excellent, friendly service.
