Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room

ER staff is compassionate, professional, diligent and friendly. Intake is quick and the hospital is clean. I have had 4 visits to this ER each has been very positive.

Very impressed with everyone I dealt with at the ER. I was assessed within 5 minutes and had X-rays and saw the doctor in only 30 minutes or so with sore ribs. Each person I dealt with was kind, professional and easy to deal with. Thank you all for making a difficult experience as easy as possible.

Took my 7 week infant in for a fever/virus where they gave him medication and tested him for RSV/flu/COVID. During the visit, they told us that if he tested positive for any of the tests, they would call us immediately. We have not received a call from them for several days and had a follow up appt w our PCP. Our PCP took the liberty to double check with the hospital that all tests were negative where they found out that he tested positive for RSV. Good Sam failed to call us, as they said they would, to let us know our son was positive for RSV. Had we known, we would have changed our living situation with my 70+ year old parents who are also high risk. Very disappointed in Good Sam...

I checked in at 9:15am got fully checked in by 10am… around 1pm I finally ask the nurse who took me back to answer some questions earlier during check in what the status was…. And she damn near barked at me and was very disrespectful. I turned & said I’m going outside for a minute (because I was freezing in er waiting room)… not knowing she DISCHARGED ME FROM THE SYSTEM..!!!! I came back in 5 minutes after being outside and continued to wait. At 4pm I found out I was discharged by her….. then I was told to come back MONDAY…. after I waited an entire FRIDAY to get a quick procedure done…. So I have to wait three days because some nurse had an attitude..!!!

Totally unacceptable & after Monday will never come back to this hospital..!!

As my husband already reviewed, we got quick attention after my accident. Even more impressive was the call we got on a Sunday checking in with me to see how I was feeling - at the request of the ER doctor that saw me and checked me out. We wouldn’t hesitate to go there again!

I fell getting out of the shower & hurt my foot & toe. They took X-rays & sent me home. They said that they were going to do scans because I’m on blood thinners. They didn’t do the scans. In December, I was bleeding from my rectal & I was sent home because I didn’t need a transfusion. By the next day I had to call 911 because I was so dizzy, I couldn’t walk. If they would’ve tried to find out way I was bleeding, I wouldn’t have ended up in the hospital for 3 days. While in there, my blood pressure dropped & my heart stopped for 5 seconds. You shouldn’t dismiss people without covering all bases.

I had to take my father to the ER the other day. I was happily surprised on how quickly we were able to be seen and how quickly he was taken for the different tests that were ordered.

The doctors and staff were very helpful, pleasant, and answered all of our questions. I hope I never have to take my Dad to the ER again but if I do, I will visit Good Sam again!
