So sad to see what has happened with Vasser and patient care. Going to this ER will kill you or leave you to die. All the money spent to build all these new building are from the 10 hour + wait they charge your insurance and with absolute no care, and no empathy. I had to leave and go to Westchester ER where I was seen faster and handled like I mattered. This hospital is scamming everyone in Hudson Valley it's scary what I had also see they had sick, very hurt and even elderly sitting on uncomfortable chair a medical assistant coming into the waiting from to do what should be private and speaking of info that is private infront of all of the waiting room. Your vital is in waiting room nothing is private . DR. Raven will have you die in that waiting room. Don't go here find another ER and save your money, time and save your life more importantly. These people are just worried about expanding, building and finding that money with your insurance, and the run around, wait they will makw you do. This isn't the same hospital that I remember. This hospital is no longer about saving lives it's just like anyother next corporation all about the šŸ’µ

This Emergency room of this establishment is the dirtiest of armpits I have ever seen. Years ago I checked in because I was experiencing one of the worst thyroid storms a human being could have experienced. I was suffering this storm because American Healthcare is so crooked and corrupt that no thyroid specialist could see me because insurance is so fraudulent in this country. But I digress, I'm vomiting and losing all control of bodily functions due to this thyroid storm and when I check in to explain I'm going through a thyroid storm the garbage triage nurse falsey accused me of being pregnant. I laugh cause pregnant women don't lose 30 pounds in a month. This garbage employee checks my vitals. I had a resting heart rate of 160. Typical of someone experiencing a thyroid storm. So then I get admitted. They stopped my heart which was very uncomfortable. A couple days of medication we get it under control. They only give me a prescription for ten days. I run out of meds and end up back in the hospital. They try to charge me another 500 dollar copay even though their doctors neglected me. So unethical and mentally as well as physically traumatizing. The greed and neglect in American Healthcare is mind blowing. This place deserves to get slapped with a plethora of lawsuits. The greed and negligence and disregard to the hippocratic oath is so shameful. Hey Vassar you owe me and many patients some money.

If you ever get a bill from here I would highly recommend questioning it. Finally received my bill statement 10 months after receiving ā€œcareā€ here, which had me paying in full, with no coverage from insurance. When I called, the insurance information they had on file was not correct. I could understand mistyping a number or two, but the WHOLE group and member ID was wrong. Not something you should be messing up. Completely unprofessional.

I have been here since 12 noon here it is 6:40pm and have yet to see a Dr. There is no way that this should be considered an Emergency Room!!!!!
They call ur name several times for vitals,
And registration so regardless of your pain, you have to get up and down to adhere to their request yet they canā€™t give you anything for pain. You have to lay here feeling helpless and discouraged. It would be better if they had you stay home until you could come in to be seen mind you and the six hours that Iā€™ve been here I have yet to see anyone come through and wipe off the vinyl furniture despite many Hill people getting up and down in and out of the chairs itā€™s like an opportunity to fester in the airborne illnesses. This is the worst place ever ever ever.

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever been ignored in an emergency room. I was there almost 5 hours crying non stop. I tore a muscle in my lower back and I couldnā€™t walk at all. I was triaged within the first 30 minutes and they rolled me out to the waiting room which I waited 2 hours for an xray. After the xray, I was again taken back to the waiting room for another 2 hours. They called me in and I thought I was finally going to be seen, but they just switched me from one waiting room to another one. After another hour of waiting, a nurse came in and recognized me from the main waiting room and asked ā€œyouā€™re still crying?ā€. Are you kidding me?! You think Iā€™m crying for fun? a doctor finally came to waiting room, told me I tore a muscle, thatā€™s why I couldnā€™t walk and to take some ibuprofen, go see my doctor and sent me on my way. What is the use of having an emergency room? I obviously couldnā€™t get to my doctor in time and if ibuprofen worked, I wouldnā€™t be seeking emergency help. First time and last time I go to this hospital.

My husband went to ER after experiencing severe stomach pains. He got there at 1:30 pm (& he's still there at 1:30 am). This is totally unacceptable for an ER! They take you in expeditiously for vitals (which gives them the ability to start billing) w/o telling you of the long wait. Their reasoning is lack of staff & beds & "patients needing immediate care". Ppl come to the ER for a reason, they're sick and/or in pain. The amount of time my husband has been waiting, he could have gone somewhere else, received proper diagnosis & treatment. I haven't a clue why I'm even bothering to leave a review, because something should have been done a long time ago from all the negative reviews. This ER is uncaring, unprofessional, & negligent on their treatment of patients. Do NOT go here!

Bought my wife in for a follow up. She was here a couple days ago due to an infection in her throat. She was prescribed antibiotics to try and help but the antibiotics had no effect which explained the follow up. Now look both me and my wife understand how tough it is to work in the medical field which is why we were both patient at first. Me and my wife came at 6pm and she was in the waiting room for 14 hours straight. During the last hour before both of us were becoming impatient she was told ā€œIā€™m sorry there is nothing we can do about the wait times.ā€ There were people who came that morning and were being seen before her. Finally my wife grew impatient and I drove her home. Iā€™m going to try mid Hudson regional next. If you expect to come here be prepared to wait and have snacks at hand.
