She always does an excellent job.I feel so blessed to have her as my health provider.

I never feel rushed with Dr Maghal Gorre-Ndaiye she’s very caring , understanding as well as providing professional feedback on my needs and my journey to better healthier lifestyle choices.

I saw a new doctor and felt that any time I questioned her, she quickly dismissed it as "well, that's how we do things here." I felt very much like a number and that my health was a recipe. Even though I had no concerns, the doctor ordered a bunch of "routine" blood tests without discussing each one with me or explaining why she ordered them (if she had asked, she would have found out that I've already had them done at other doctors within the last year and there is *no* reason to expect changes), and some of them are for diseases I don't even have symptoms for. What bothered me most was that they now require you to physically come in every 3 months just to get a prescription (they only prescribe 90 days at a time now for routine meds), and every month for controlled drugs like pain meds. This means that you have to take time off work and pay a copay just to tell them nothing has changed. The worst part is that the requirement is across the board, regardless of whether you are healthy or if the medicine is simple- for example, a teenager with acne cream now needs to take time out of school and the parent needs to take time off work multiple times a year just to tell the doctor that nothing is changed. I understand the desire to be more involved in your patients' health, but when your patient is otherwise healthy and has no concerns, this feels greedy and forced. They don't even offer telehealth- you have to physically come in and waste time.

I had a great experience! I had multiple items to discuss and I felt my doctor listened and responded with helpful insights that inspired me to take better care of myself. Thank you very much!

Although I am not a patient, I had a great experience on the phone with one of the representatives that assisted me with something work related. I felt the need to compliment her publicly on her professionalism, her name is Lalitha.

I will be moving my PCP as soon as possible. I have interacted 3x with this office and all 3 have been very unsatisfactory.
The first time, I went to the Urbana office for a sinus infection while pregnant. was told by the NP there that I was hurting my unborn child by taking aspirin and metformin prescribed by my doctor for my pregnancy complications.
The second time I had a somewhat pleasant experience but the NP who saw me never followed up with my blood work reports. I am a biologist and was able to figure out my reports by myself but there was zero follow up.
The third time I went for my annual physical and mentioned that my foot was hurting for months. It was a low level pain but persistent so was concerned. I was sent for an XRay. Got a call back the next day about some kind of ligament fracture. The NP literally read the Wikipedia page and told me to apply ice. I mentioned I had been doing that for months. It helps temporarily but then the pain returns. The NP then said she is referring me to an orthopedic specialist and that was it. Within an hour they called me for a “phone consult copay”. For 5 minutes where I got zero help. On mentioning that, I was told by their billing that they would put in a note that I had insufficient funds and refused to pay. I paid up because there wasn’t really any other option. I got a call back from the NP who said “what else do you want me to do?” in a very escalating tone. I mentioned that it wasn’t helping my foot and hung up before anything else could be said because I’m at work.
I have to note that in all these visits I have never met the doctor who runs the practice, in fact I have never even seen him present at the practice. They have never even greeted me. Yet they are absolutely quick to charge the copay and put in an insurance claim. Absolutely avoid this practice if you can help it. I gave them a couple of chances after the first time because their office manager called and assured me that the first visit was a mistake made by a new NP. Will not be returning.

I have a lot of health issues, and I've been to a good amount of doctors over the last 12 years. Primary Care associates of Maryland gives me more care and understanding than any doctor I've ever dealt with. I love them because they listen when I explain a problem to them they don't just assume because their doctors they know better than I do they assume because I'm the patient I know my body and I really appreciate them and I will recommend them to anybody I know.
