Location of famous Kdrama filming, 大长今. But otherwise, isn't alot to see. Perhaps one would need a good guide to explain the various cultures and practices which are difficult to find out with use the view of the houses.

Amazing to see the history of how each class lived and what they had to work with. The area was beautiful and amazing to experience!

Wonderful place to visit and explore. You learn and see how Koreans used to live in the 1800's. It's an authentic Korean folk village.
My one and only big complaint is that some of the animals seemed to be in an unsuitable habitat for 90° F weather. It seems almost cruel, but I'm hoping they have employees that keep a good eye on their condition and welfare.

**tickets may be sold out online, but if you go in person they'll let you in. Though of course, the tickets online are less expensive.

We had a blast here! Loved walking around the recreated folk village to learn about the bygone ways. An unexpected highlight was lunch at the Buckwheat Museum inside the village, rolling around a boulder, riding a swing, hanging a wish, playing games inside the school.

This is the most popular place in Jeju Island to see what's the traditional life in Jeju. It's well maintained and easy to stroll. If you are a disability person, then ask the office a day before your visit to arrange an electric wheelchair.

It is the place where Jewel in the Place show was taken and made. We enjoyed visiting Folk Village. We learned the culture of the folk in Jeju Island in terms of governance, daily lifestyle, food, houses, etc. The village is very clean so you can totally enjoy the visit. There are some wax figure same size with a human, and it's kind'a scary (haha), but still we enjoy the visit.
