Overall: 2.00. Positives: CVS entrance easily accessible from Van Ness/UDC Metro exit on Connecticut Ave. Starbucks directly across the street by UDC. Pharmacy Tech very friendly & administered vaccination earlier than my scheduled appointment. Negatives: Decor run down & dingy. Trash littered throughout the store—especially by the pharmacy. Limited # of staffed & self-checkout registers. Basic products locked behind clear plastic shelves. Sad commentary to see so many products locked up.

i’ve literally never not had an issue at this pharmacy. they never answer the phone, wait times take forever, every time i pick up a prescription (once a month for the past year) they act as if they have never seen my insurance before in their life, which winds up
holding up the entire line. the pharmacy techs are delightful and doing their best, but the pharmacist is less than helpful, to put it kindly. i’m switching to Pills Plus as soon as i can- this cvs has wasted too much of my time and i'm irritated every time i leave. also, the app does not work. do not waste your time

Friendly and fast. They had my Rx's transferred before I could get there to pick them up!

Impossible to fill a prescription and when they finally did 3 days after I ran out, it was 5.2 times the cost at Walmart. So I transferred it back to Walmart and have to commute an hour one way to pick it up.

I'm gonna do CostPlusDrugs as soon as I possibly can

The current pharmacist never answers the phone. Even when I'm there they walk by the phone that's constantly ringing. Customer service is lacking. When some people show up, help is offered, there is eye contact and an explanation as to why the prescription is not available etc. With other customers their presence isn't readily acknowledged, there is no eye contact and no effort to explain any follow up questions.

Worst pharmacy of all time. Staff is rude and constantly late when filling prescriptions. They send out notifications that your prescription is ready to pick up, but I've waited over a week for them to actually get them filled. Every time you go back to ask they tell you to come back in 2 hours, then just close the pharmacy or go on break. Someone needs to fix this. Not everyone has the luxury to wait on drugs. These are people's lives and health you are playing with.

Terrible pharmacy service, complete lack of customer oriented care, but I guess pharmacists are hard to come by so they don't have to take pride in doing job correctly or keep common medicine in stock. Pharmacists treat medication ordering as though they are doing the patients a favor to keep common medications in stock. I asked the pharmacist "ok, if theres supply issues, how can I come at the right time to make sure my prescription is filled?" Pharmacist answer: "nothing, stock up weeks worth of pills from your doctor because we run out for weeks at a time".
