This is a great store,clean with a lot of variety of products-including many greek ones ;)
Staff is really nice also

no management's fault ,but the asian butcher is filthy , touching meat without gloves and dropping the meat before service .he should be fired .

Midan is more than a store. It is a way of life. Love this place, and the staff are always a delight.

New to Cambridge and UK, and been to Midan to buy mineral water. I was kind of surprised by the price tag of 3.99 GBP for 5L, but thought this was the way things are here. Interestingly enough, I bought the same 5L mineral water for 1 GBP from ALDI just a couple of blocks away from Midan. How do you justify such a rip-off? Yeah sure, you should probably price it over 1 GBP to be profitable, but 4 times as high? Seriously?

We moved a few houses from Midan a couple of months ago and I feel so lucky to have this place just a few steps from my house.

butcher and vegs are high quality and an amazing selection of products I didn’t find anywhere else. Prices are great as well

The butcher is amazing! All customized meat chopping ready for you. He also has marinated meats ready if you are having a lazy day. I left cambridge sadly and miss his quality very hard to find else where.

The quality of the meat here far exceeds the other halal butchers in Cambridge. There is no smell to the meat and the marinated selection of meats is freshly prepared in store and very tasty. The butcher is incredibly helpful and friendly. There is wide selection of Asian, middle eastern goods and the shelves are always fully stocked. Lovely friendly staff who are always on hand for queries. There is also a frozen section of meals that are freshly prepared in store that I discovered recently which rivals many of the local takeaways.
