VR Escapism Markham

My son wanted to have his birthday party here, so we brought his friends and they had a great time. No space to actually have a proper party (food, drinks etc), but they have 5 rooms to accommodate everyone, and a small tuck shop to purchase some chips and other. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our room to be set up as the previous booking was still inside. They have a table and many boardgames you can play to pass the time, as well as a Foosball table.

Hosted kids bday party and it was a blast! Travis and Edith were accommodating and worked with you to find a solution to suit your needs. Foosball and extra board/card games worked well to keep kids and adults entertained for the whole time!

We had an amazing time at VR Escapism! This was our first time playing VR escape room, such a unique experience ☺️ Whether you go in a pair or with a group, the experience is a blast. Solving puzzles is even more fun with more people, adding a chaotic and thrilling element to the game. Don't miss out on the Dragon Tower if you're a beginner.

Walk inside and there are about 4 rooms that can be played in. There's a foosball table outside and they sell drinks as well. They offer a good selection of Virtual Reality games for all ages. Staff is nice and helpful.

VR ARENA
Choose either 45 mins for 3 games $35 or 60 mins for 4 games $45.
Given the activity of the games in this set, it's aimed to be fun for different tastes, age groups and skill levels. Would suggest this for younger kids as their attention span is short and offers a variety.

Kids enjoyed it. Cooking game (COOK’D UP!) was a lot of fun.

Great experience! Kiddos loved it. We played the mini games which was just the right amount of time for my 8 year old daughter. Different games to choose from that will please the whole family. The lady working at the counter was very patient and explained everything well!

I've been on two separate occasions once for the Dragon Tower and another for the Travel Paradox. The price is reasonable for an escape room/ VR experience ($40 pp). The whole experience is about 45 minutes to an hour. There are boardgames for you to play if you want to stay longer.

The games do have similar feel to an escape room puzzle but with a video game capable element like magic.

One thing I did not enjoy was on both occasions someone's game pack ran out of batteries. One game, my hand controllers stopped working but we could not have known if it was part of the game or not, it was hard to get the attention of the staff.

They can't pause the game so I missed out on the cut scenes while waiting to get fixed. The staff did add on additional time but it takes away from the experience.

It'd also be nice if they offered to help take a photo of the experience. Definitely hard to do yourself once you're all geared up.

SUPER FUN. GREAT DATE ACTIVITY. We did the dragon room and it was super fun and not too hard. You’re running around a lot so it does get hot, leave your sweater in the locker.

This is a very good experience for kids for sure. Kids had fun, from the time they put on the VR, till the end. they had fun. it is definitely some workout if you dont want to go outside in summer, or winter. the experiences is good. They have a variety of themes to choose from. The staffs are helpful and place is CLEAN. Kids was sweating when they came out. Lots of workout. Love it for a mom's perspective. Trust me kids was complaining didnt want to go at first but ended up want to come back again. I score hahah. MUST TRY !!
