The 27 Club

Looking for a good dance bar, I went to this bar first time. Expensive cover charge of $25 to start with plus coat check. Drink prices are reasonable though.

Large dance stage which is good but the place was half empty even at its busiest on a Saturday night. No wonder with such expensive cover. Halve the cover and double the crowd is my advice. You will sell more drinks while keeping your cover charge income same. The bar was only reasonably busy for less than an hour between 11:45 to 12:45.

Also disproportionate high number of gents compared to ladies. Declare Saturday nights as ladies night with free admission for ladies to address this issue.

My other advice is to put a mirror in the men's washroom. Surely with such cover charge you can afford it. It was also cold inside and it is not winter yet. After 1 am, the place became empty so I left too.

The crowd was nice and friendly, so were the bartenders.

Good prices for drinks. Lots of space for dancing and booths. I love mostly the variety of different genres of music they play and sometimes bring in some heavy djs. Also the crowd is always a good one. Lots of good vibes at this place. It's also near Lots of good food if you're hungry afterwards.

What I particularly enjoyed during my visits were the quest DJs. They do a good job of keeping the music interesting and the energy up. It's always a pleasant surprise to see who is spinning the tunes, and they certainly Know how to set the mood for a night of dancing.

The themed nights at the 27 Club add a unique touch to the experience, They put in some
effort to create different atmospheres, which can be a lot of fun. From retro nights to
After parties, these themes bring an extra element of enjoyment to the evening.

Overall, if you're looking for a fun night out with plenty of dancing space, good music, and
occasionally themed events, the 27 Club is a solid choice. It may not be the most extravagant
place in town, but it delivers an enjoyable night of entertainment. Give it a try for a casual night of dancing and good vibes! Oh yeah the drinks are reasonably priced as well!

Completely empty on a Saturday night. Charged cover even though we were the only people in the building excluding staff.

The owners seriously need to consider moving the electronic dart board game. Imagine dancing when suddenly the dancefloor becomes completely lit up, bright as day, because someone wants to play "darts" on this huge and extremely bright machine. It was distracting and offensive. Many people asked the bartender if we could unplug it, thinking it was on by accident, and we were told no because someome apparently wanted to play in the middle of the djs set. This wasn't just a random club night but a techno event. At least just move it to the back in the seating area, not on the dancefloor??

Love going here for emo night but they could expand their drink options. Not much for ppl who don’t like beer.

Went for emo night last night and the bartender was interrogating me for ordering a non alcoholic beverage. He asked if I was the designated driver, I said no. Then he asked why I was just ordering orange juice, I said because I don't want alcohol. Then he told me that was "suspicious".

Tampon/pad bins in the women's washroom was completely full and looks like it hadn't been changed in weeks...GROSS!
