It is ridiculous that we are encouraged to use your official website to receive the best service and then not provide said service. The Rotana Hotel should be better than this, given the name.
We were a newly-married couple living abroad and we booked our stay 2 months in advance, for a tier that would have us stay on a floor between floor 25 and 32.
When I arrived on the day of my wedding to check in, I was given the wrong room and the lowest floor. When I informed the staff that I had booked 2 months in advance and specifically requested in my notes when booking to be given a higher floor (which is why I booked so early on), I was told that the notes didn't appear on the system. I was told this by two different staff members, despite being told 2 months before on the phone when I called internationally that my notes would be paid attention to. On the contrary, when I arrived, it was like a surprise. Nobody knew anything about the booking and the notes were nowhere to be seen, and I was told every single room in the hotel was already booked.
Later, when I went to check the room, I found it smaller than the one I had paid for. After talking to multiple staff members, they seemed to find out then and there that they could in fact access my notes. Despite accessing them, they asked me to summarise what the notes said (as if they didn't understand English). I told them to read the notes because it's all written there. I then overheard staff members telling asking each other why they had given me the wrong kind of room, and one staff member asking the other "why didn't you check?" to which he answered "I don't know" and then was told "you should have checked". I also heard them saying they had incorrectly given me a "single". I also couldn't help but notice that there were actually many vacant rooms - not that the hotel was totally booked. Later on, a higher ranking staff member gave me "his word" that the correct arrangements would be made, and asked me for any special requests to make it up to me. I told him I just needed a good room and told him to forget about everything the notes said.
I informed him that the whole process of booking in advance and checking in early, many hours before my wedding, was to avoid issues. He promised he would make sure to arrange for everything as needed. Later on that night, after the wedding, I was happy to see that was indeed done. We were given a gift in the hotel room and we were given a better room, which we liked, and would like to book again - if only it had a bidet sprayer (shattafa) rather than the seated bidet.
Other than that, we had trouble connecting to the tv via the casting service. It kept disconnecting randomly and lagging. Finally, the digital indicator below the TV was quite bright at night, and we had to cover it with a towel.
For the breakfast buffet, a greater variety of items would be appreciated.
The swimming pool is rather small.
For some service matters when we first got to the room, we had to call multiple times or go down to the reception desk to make sure the matter is dealt with (such as there being only 1 towel instead of 2 for us couple, or having only 1 pair of slippers, 1 toothbrush set, etc. Speaking of the toothbrush set, the refill only gave us one instead of 2, although we had requested a second one (they cleaned up 2 and gave us 1 back).

Very slow services, wasting my time and the family time.
We booked 3 rooms, they were not ready at check-in time, we went to get breakfast down in the boulevard area to give them time to prepare the rooms, but when we came back it weren't ready yet, we had to wait more than two hours before we can have the rooms.
We call asked for the rooms service to clean the toilet, we had to wait almost an hour and still not arrived. 🥱😏

Great hotel. The service is amazing. All the employees interact with a smile all the time. The location is also nice, right next to the abdali boulevard and mall.

I used to love it until I realized u can’t really relax because of the club next door iguana or watver it’s called they party till 2-3 am so good luck sleeping would of been nice but Rotana isn’t doing anything to fix the issue if u want peace stay away

Located next to the Boulevard with Panoramic windows that give a great view of Amman.
Service was very good and the staff were attentive to any items requested for the room. I stayed for a week, having breakfast everyday which had a wide selection of choices.
Only area for improvement is attention to detail in the rooms, minor points of untidy finishes which slightly detract from the overall opulence of the hotel.
Overall great experience and would recommend.

I had very bad experience w the staff as I mad early reservation but when I reached to the hotel the rooms were not ready, despite I notified them earlier that Im coming between 12-12:30 noon and they assured me the rooms were ready!!! The staff were unhelpful they were trying to push me and my family to go for upgrade or take the rooms w higher price , i had to wait till 3 pm to go to my room at the end I received it dirty where the trash of the previous guests wasn’t removed , also whenever i needed cleaning of the room i had to call the reception !!!! The food of the room service was so bad as well .

I stayed here for a couple of days recently during my holiday in Jordan. The first two nights we stayed in a room on the 42nd floor. The view was amazing. The room had panoramic ceiling to floor windows. Felt like I was watching the city from a landing plane. Service was amazing. Breakfast was very good. Lot’s of choice. Only advice I would love to give Rotana Amman is: attention to detail whilst cleaning. The room didn’t feel 5-star clean to me. Also, if you stay here, don’t forget to check out the Boulevard nearby. Really cool place to visit to just walk or enjoy one of the many restaurants!
