A well curated museum featuring works by Twombly, Still, Newman, deBuffet, Matisse, and more. The Seven Rooms and a Garden exhibit by Rashid Johnson was really beautifully done and they did a great job at pairing his works with other pieces.
Great idea to open on Friday afternoon and free entrance! Always great exhibitions in the heart of Stockholm!

Beautiful spot for a museum. The museums cafeteria is breathtaking- lovely view, definitely grab a coffee and snack there after. The locker system is easy and great.
My only complaint is that I thought it would be bigger, it’s much smaller than other modern art museums in other capital cities.

Free entry on Friday night. An amazing place with lots of artifacts, pictures and videos. Some temporary exhibitions will be hold randomly, so you could follow the official news on their website. You can enjoy the edification of beauty and art here!
Be careful museums aren't free anymore !
As it was raining on that day we just wanted an activity indoors , and this was the perfect stop.
The entry is a bit expensive but the place is interesting and coffee shop are a really good.

The museum building itself is quite striking and contemporary in design. It was designed by the Spanish architect Rafael Moneo and opened in 1998. The architecture features a combination of sleek lines, glass facades, and open spaces, which provide a fitting backdrop for the artworks displayed inside.
