Beautiful lighthouse, nice to boat up to. Minus one star because they poop straight into the water! 😲

Take your time and visit all the beautiful light houses in and around the Chesapeake Bay!!!

I would have like to leave a five star review. The only reason I'm putting one star and not more is because when we pulled to the guard shack, we were very politely told that "You can't." actually proceed past the guardhouse to see the lighthouse. I would have loved to see it. I hear wonderful things about all the hard work that has gone into the preservation of the lighthouse. There was a double rainbow the day we went to see it. I would have loved to show the lighthouse with that in the background, but here are the rainbows anyway.

Went fishing under the Bay Bridge caught a couple of rockfish and had a couple big fish break our lines. It is definitely a spot we will return to.

How cool is it owning a lighthouse! You guys are doing a great job of bringing it back to life!! A+++

The light was sold by the Coast Guard to a group of 3 couples. They have done a great job of fixing it up. They gave a presentation to our sailing club about the history of the light house and the work they have been doing. Check out their website.
