Mi Barrio

My experience in Mi Barrio was not a great one.

Our (large) group reserved a table for the dinner and we were quite disappointed.
Indeed, we all choose a starter and a main dish at the beginning of the dinner but some of us had to change their order because of a lack of ingredients.

I order the tomatoes with mozarrela and Pesto. The food was fine but nothing special about it and even for a starter it was a very small dish for 9,5€.
For the main dish, I orger one of the vegetarian option. I had 1/4 of cauliflower with a little bit of sauce and wheat Berry (I guess). The only thing that had a little bit of taste was the price (18,5€)...

I had quite some expectations regarding this restaurant (due to all the good reviews) but I didn't really enjoy my dinner.

Maybe it was because of the size of our group...

Always a pleasure in Mi Barrio. Yummy lunch and very friendly service.

The pappardelle was amazing and the service was great, everyone was very friendly! Also definitely recommend the apple martini!

Were there for a private party. Drinks and snacks service good and the food served was fine for standing and eating fare.

Peeked at the menu and that seemed quite banal. But that's my taste. Modernistic decor black dominated throughout.

Toilets neat could do with a hand dryer.

A nice place to have Tapas in Nijmegen. It looks a little industrial with a bare concrete floor and a tiled wall, but was also decorated with lots of plants, trees and lights, all in all this gave a nice atmosphere. The food was really good, especially the sweet potato fries were a favourite on our table. The waitress very friendly, but not very prompt. We had a really good evening!

Very nice cuisine! Tasteful menu and quite big portions! Nice plankjes to accompany your wine or beer! Open space and long tables! Very good for bigger groups of people, but also just for 2!
