Nice swimming pond but the safety checks every half hour can get annoying as everybody has to evacuate the pond for 15minutes

Fun place to spend a sunny day at. Man made lake with sandy beach and chlorinated water. Life guards on duty. It does get a bit busy and crowded.

Great swimming for families. They offer an annual pass which pays off in four visits. Snack bar with typical snacks and frozen drinks.

The pool/beach is actually chlorinated and offers a very well manicured sand beach to relax on. Several lifeguards on duty with ample safety breaks, and clearly marked ropes in the swimming area so you know the depths.

Several umbrellas to escape the heat under. There is also some picnic tables and a playground close by to have some fun on.

All persons must have a wristband for entry.

Nice place to take kids. They charge 6.00. Lots of lifeguards and safety reminders. Many large umbrellas to share with others. Man-made lake is cooler, with filtered clear water and sandy bottom & beach.

Wow, so much griping about 1st world problems. Yes, its manmade lake, not super deep, but not a puddle. Yes, they enforce rules, and do safety checks, its harder to see kids in a lake, than in a pool. Yes, there is a small fee to play here, there’s always a fee to swim at a pool. I would rather take my kids to a place i know is safe and they are watching. The 2 things i would agree with some on is there needs to be more shaded areas and better showers to remove sand.

Great place for non-functioning adults who can’t manage their own kids and need to be micromanaged by teens. For $6 youget all day babysitting. I dont know why they waste our time with hourly lectures reminding parents to watch their kids. The reality is if you can't do your job, they'll hold all attendees hostage demanding we look for your kid. Then after finding him nowhere near the water two minutes later we need to interrupt our enjoyment another half hour while they fill out paperwork due to one parent that can’t do their job. These people should be evicted immediately. There are 3 blissful hours in morning before Big Brother descends. I would like to see 7p to 9pm open to adults who dont need a keeper. I was there for an hour today; 40 mins of which were spent on safety breaks and searching for parents’ kids. They should instead have temporary swim breaks where we’re not getting reminded of rules or searching for kids because parents can’t follow them. I went to free kitty pool in North Mpls. Spent rest of day in water. No telling how many search and rescues I missed out on.

Nice beach. Big enough where even when there are a lot of people, you're still 6 ft apart. There is an admission fee both daily and seasonal pass. Bathroom and changing rooms.available. limited umbrellas. Would go again
