Looked beautiful from the outside. Wasn't open when we were there.
Nice place to walk around . Lots of history. nice little restaurant at the front and one the other side of the road .not too expensive.
This is another beautiful castle in the countryside near Sarlat. It's private so no visiting up close. There were great views from across a valley near Carsac-Aillac.

Impressive exterior of smaller castle surrounded by tiny 18c(?) Village and overlooking the river. Castle not open to public but still worth a detour
Wonderful, small village. Worth a visit if passing through, but the castle is private and can't be viewed/visited. The village is basically just two small streets, so I wouldn't go out of my way to stop by. But if in the area, a great, quick stop.
Respect! Only vaccinated people could visit the castle!
