Banks' Seafood Kitchen and Raw Bar

Honestly one of my new favorites. Everything was delectable. The ambiance and service was also top notch.

It’s not cheap, but in my opinion also not expensive for the food you get and even the portions. I’ve had food from “award winning” chefs before and this is right on point with them.

The raw bar and oysters are literally some of the freshest and well prepared in this state.

It’s a must try if in the area hands down if you like seafood.

Love this place for oysters. Me and my girlfriend made a reservation for dinner, the oysters were incredible. Great price considering the quality, especially around the area. A few oysters were still attached to the shell. Service was good for us, however our server dint toke many plates as we were finished and other dishes were coming out. We ended up with quite a table full of empty plates. The spicy pineapple margarita is great, not to mention the crab cakes they are the best around here.

Honestly, it was very disappointing and bad experience for a super high-end restaurant. Service- understaffed and exhausted. Service- the server verbal said she couldn’t handle all the tables and it showed. It took about 35 minutes for bread to make it to the table after asking about it twice. Overall, my whole family just felt bad and were disappointed by the poor service. I would recommend the management company to provide more support to your servers when it’s busy because it makes impact and unfortunately hurts your business and reputation. We were excited but yeah when hours go by and things don’t come out well you just want to get it over with. Food- it was not worth the hour wait for the food. The food was a bit basic for high-end. Honestly, I would not go back to this restaurant.

First landing in Delaware, I found a very delicious seafood restaurant while strolling around the station. I had clam chowder, calamari and fried oysters. Especially fried oysters are a gem, and the crispy batter spreads the taste of oysters in your mouth. This is the number one recommendation.

Made reservations and the process went smoothly. The apps were nice and light; left just the right amount of room for our entrees. Expensive but not really surprising for seafood. Overall enjoyed the food very much and will be back. ☺️

Food was good, service was great. Bathrooms were nothing fancy...but they have actual faucets instead of motion sensors...huge +! I had the lobster mac and cheese. The cheese was kind of watery for my taste, but it was decent. The complimentary bread is excellent. My girlfriend got a fish...she said it was decent. Everything was very expensive. Server was very attentive, professional and social. Setting was very nice, although there seemed to be a lot of flies. The fried pickles are excellent! Whole spears fried...wait for them to cool before eating!

The old bay shrimp boil is so good and the presentation is beautiful. This restaurant’s food is amazing and worth the price. They can get a little busy and your server really will be the wager wether your experience is good. I’ve been multiple times. The food never disappoints. They have outdoor seating, right by the water is really nice. Also the inside of the restaurant is luxurious. This is a wonderful place to have a family dinner, special event and even engagement.
