I went to see an incredibly interesting and thought-provoking play about the race debate between James Baldwin and William Buckley Jr here. Great performance from the actors, and was followed by a really interesting discussion about the piece and views from the time period. I would recommend this piece in particular more to teenagers and adults as some of the language used is quite rude, but the theatre as a whole had great accessibility and was putting on a huge range of exciting performances at the time. 5 stars!

I love the Old Vic. All productions that we've seen there have been outstanding! And the bar is fab too!

Very nice atmosphere, staff were all friendly.

I really enjoyed how intimate the show was.

Also free refillable water station is always a bonus!

I had an absolutely fantastic time at The Bristol Old Vic. The venue is incredibly comfortable, exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the bar is a delightful spot to relax and enjoy yourself. The plays are nothing short of amazing and truly authentic. I recently saw "Cheeky Little Brown," and it was an outstanding experience. The intimate salon setting, comfortable seats, and especially the monologue left a lasting impression on me. I'm truly impressed and grateful for the opportunity to have been there!

Such helpful staff, superb customer service over the phone and onsite, venue really caters to accessibility needs. You can register your needs, which are accounted for when booking. The productions are fantastic too and the seats as comfortable as any other theatre I've been to. Love visiting

A really great theatre with lots of interesting performances throughout the year. The building itself is really old and pretty small with not much leg room, but that just makes it more intimate. They have a great cafe and bar too with lots of seating space

A lovely theatre in the centre of Bristol with great, modern facilities and a beautiful old auditorium (with comfy seats and decent air conditioning).

The bar and cafe opens onto King Street inviting people into the heart of the theatre. It’s a wonderfully open and exciting space with plenty of areas to sit, chat and watch the world go by. There are two theatre spaces and a beautiful hall which can be used for weddings and other events.

The programme of plays, comedians and speakers offers something for everyone. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Overall it is a jewel in the crown of Bristol’s cultural life and a wonderful asset for the city.
