Eddy authentic Lebanese cuisine

I've been told Ottawa has the best shawarma and decided to give this place a try since it had the highest ratings for shawarma around the Byward Market. It's a tiny place with a good selection of wraps, plates, and Lebanese pies. The owner was super friendly, and makes an effort to be humorous. There are no seats inside, but there are a couple of small tables with chairs right outside if you don't want to take your food to go.

After placing our order, we were told to have a seat outside while he prepared our food, and will bring it out to us when it's ready. The portions were good, however, I was not impressed by the chicken shawarma wrapped I ordered. I liked how fries were included inside the wrap, but the chicken was dry, and the overall flavour was not that great compared to other shawarmas I've tried.

I'm giving the atmosphere 2 stars because the tables were somewhat near the garbage which attracted a lot of bees to the area making it hard to eat peacefully.

The owner is a really friendly, fun guy who was a big help in recommending what to order for my first visit.

If you don't feel like a wrap or dinner he has lots of appies and other options as well as sweets and popsicles and pantry items. He has a great selection of canned drinks I haven't seen before. We also tried the poutine, it was really good. No matter what you pick they are generous with the portions and put in the effort to give you lots of delicious, flavourful food. Lastly you can buy the garlic sauce to go, yum.

It's a small place. But Eddy is great. The wraps are wonderful.
You should let him do his thing. He knows what you are going to like as toppings once you give him your general preference
The food is delicious and the service is very quick. The prices are mind blowing. Love going there

The beauty of downtown Ottawa, and especially of The ByWard market area can make you really very hungry after a good rich of discoveries walk. No worries this place; "Eddy, The Authentic Lebanese Cuisine" can be of an excellent culinary choice: rich of a large variety of Lebanese dishes; this cosy clean mini restaurant can really relieve your hunger. I strongly recommend it if you visit our dear Canadian Capital Downtown.

Got ourself half zaatar and half roasted pepper garlic thing on the pita bread and Falafel wrap . Both tasted good and fresh . The place is pretty small so had to sir outside . Hardly place to stand but girl was nice

Delicious, authentic meat pies that are made fresh. I ordered a meat & cheese pie and had the option of adding additional toppings to it but I left it as is. The flat bread was tender and fluffy and the meat was very well-seasoned. I will definitely be back for more!

Super friendly owner who is proud of the quality products he is serving. The pies all looked incredible, great selection of options and fresh toppings.

I had a chicken shawarma and it was great! The chunks of chicken were large and extremely succulent, the toppings were so fresh they were cut right in front of me and the wrap itself was amazing.

Fresher ingredients and includes more meat than most local competitors.
