Embassy is strong supporter of Serbian politic , which is uncommon behaviour, regarding fact of Russian Federation supports BiH constitution.
Officialy there is decent distance, but it is wide spread interfering and mocking in official statements, underlined with agressive opposition and non diplomatic language in matters of EU and NATO membership of BiH.
At this period, embassy publicly supports one-side policy of leadership of Republika Srpska, receiving back Srpska chief Dodik as Russian promotor.

In the same time, cultural and education presentations of Russian culture, education projects, and local activity are really poor.

However, as far as I know, as citizen and Google local guide, Russians are wellcome here as guests or tourists, and there is no problems in everyday activities.
Russians are also very good guests and communicative.

Embassy is big house, near old Jewish cemetary , very modest from outside, and easy to find in case you need to contact them or ask official assistance in any matter.
