A well paved, safe and stunning walk! It's easy to adapt to your energy levels as you can just turn back earlier e.g. we went to just after Maitland Bay to make it a quicker 1.5 hour walk vs doing the full 3.5-4 hours. Parts of the walk is shaded, parts are boarded pavements next to the coastline and other parts is full of stairs so it keeps the walk interesting.

What's unique about the walk - the rock formations and green winding trees.

Paid parking ($8), picnic tables and bathrooms are at the start of the walk. You can also park before the putty beach entrance for free parking.

We started from the other end and walked to Putty/Killcare beach and back. Was about 17km in total. The entire walk was paved or had a clear pathway, fairly well maintained. There were lots of steps so expect to work up a sweat. Rock formations were very cool as you can see from the photos :)

One of our favorite places to walk. We visited during sundown, it was beautiful. Ample parking space.

Lovely family walk, suits all ages from 2 up!
Great boardwalk, lovely views. Beaches a little treacherous but ok for a dip if swell isn’t up- ticket machine wouldn’t accept phone payments even though it was offered
Many of us only had phones and no credit card so couldn’t pay. Hoping we don’t get fined, if we do we have all swapped numbers to fight them!

An amazing and breathtaking coastal walk, very similar to the Cape Bank waking track, with a mix of coastline and bush.We started our walk from Putty beach, crossing the beach to start our walk. Parking are a standard $8 for a day pass. The whole track is 8.5km one way but you can opt to only do sections. Graded medium as you do work up quite a sweat from the incline steps. Definitely recommended 👌

Well maintained track.

We went in a group of 12 and none of us felt uncomfortable anywhere through the way. This place is known for the rock formations along side the walk track.

If lucky one might encounter some whales during the season. Make sure to carry glasses along with, expect some heavy winds on the ocean side.

Well maintained track with fabulous view, we went on a super sunny day so it was a bit too warm in the afternoon walking on the , otherwise it's perfect for a day out.
