Restaurant EDVARD

We stayed in the hotel, it was pretty late and even near closing time, we were able to order at the restaurant. Fantastic! The atmosphere is great (as the hotel). The food is amazing and the staff know exactly what to do. Thank you!

I go to several Michelin rated restaurants during the year and this was unfortunately, is not on par with the level you expect to get for a one star restaurant.
The food was tasty and great but not exceptional. The main issue was with the service. For a restaurant that charges around 250 euro per person, you would expect attention to detail. First, the sommelier presented the wines in the wine pairing a very bland way, just stating the name of the wine and grape without any background or context. We had to take care of our water service, getting the bottle from the side table and pouring our own water. There were additional smaller thing that you notice once you had a few Michelin star experiences.

Excellent and sophisticated cuisine with a side of attitude. There were three servers, one man and two women. The man was very polite, one woman was just OK and the other woman was like a mother superior. Although she was having a lot of fun (in German) with a couple at another table, she was very cold and unsmiling with us. Still highly recommended for the cuisine.

I went to this place alone during my trip in Vienna. To me going to Michelin restaurant is all about the experience, and how I feel during the time. And I really enjoyed the whole evening, the service and waiting time in between all made me very comfortable and a special evening 👍⭐️

In the context of Michelin starred restaurants, it has been an average dinner. I expected a more decisive kick in each course. I understand that the chef wanted to give a delicate approach on the menu, but the flavours were a bit boring. The location is classy and elegant. The staff was polite, but I expected them to speak English better. I appreciated the cake they arranged for my girlfriend’s birthday. Overall, an elegant place with elegant courses, but none of them impressed me.

One of the nicest 1-star Michelin restaurants you’ll find. Excellent flavors, balance and presentation, very kind and pleasant staff, and lovely quiet atmosphere! We tried every single thing on the menu and loved everything. Would definitely come back next time we’re in Vienna.

Amazing food and attentive service. Each course offered something interesting, different and surprising. The pacing between courses hit the sweet spot: not too quick, not too long. Overall, an excellent evening.
