Great service! I’ve been there many times and all my visa applications went smoothly. The staff were polite and very supportive in filling the missing gaps, and getting all correct documents for a successful visa application. You can also get your photos there for £8 and print your documents for free by accessing the computers provided.

OK, discussing or chatting on email is tough going but possibly language barrier so I'll give the benefit of the doubt. However once I arrived, they were brilliant. Made to feel welcome, not rushed and very helpful. Very straightforward.

To all those commenting on staff rudeness/politeness: this office is run in a very militaristic style. The staff receive no formal customer service training and are hard pressed to meet their daily processing targets. This results in somewhat inconsistent customer experience. My advice is to manage your expectations.
Also, be warned that when filling the personal details section in the main application form you must provide your email address and a working telephone number, even though these fields are not marked with an asterisk. A failure to do so will at best result in you being asked for the password to access and edit your online application.

The worse experience I had encounter on applying for a visa in my entire life. Are you thinking to visit Russia? Think again and I advise you not to. First of all the service is quite expensive (compared to other usual tourist visa from different countries). They've got my passport now for 5 weeks and there is still no sign of it. There is a phone number on their website that overcharge to listen to stupid music. The rate on that phone is so much more (you rather phone the adult service to listen to some interesting stuff than calling them...and still pay less). Spent 8 min on the phone talking to an Indian accent who could not understand anything I said, he did not provide any useful information. The tracking number is useless, is not updating at all and there is no information of what is happening and there is absolutely NO REASON they keep my passport for 5 weeks. I have sent an email but of course was ignored. After another week I had to send 10 emails repeatedly to get an anser...which says...yeah keep waiting, we have no idea where your passport is...

Arrived around 8am (about 30min before opening) to submit an application and was a little concerned about the queue of 50 or so people that was waiting outside the door - but I wasn’t waiting long, they are highly efficient inside (10 application desks) and I was served within 20min and the whole process took well under an hour.

The provide printing services and have computer access for those that need it (can even get your passport photos taken here) but would highly recommend having everything ready to go beforehand and lots of waiting around for a PC etc - if you are prepared and are just submitting an application then it it’s very straight forward. Paid extra for urgent service passport and visa received (couriered) within 2 days.

Nice and quick. I went around midday and took in total 35 minutes between entry and exit. Staff are nice and courteous. For a visa centre, I think they are very good.
It has public toilets inside the premises.
I opted for an urgent visa with courier delivery so I don't know the ins and outs of other services but because of the recent diplomatic spit spat, their visa processing time is longer now and even urgent visa takes 5 working days
