ELBOW BEACH CYCLES Bermuda Scooter Rentals

The staff here was so accommodating and pleasant to work with. It being our first scooter rental ever, the staff took his time explaining things to us and then took us on many test drives until he was confident we looked comfortable. It was a fun and economical way to see Bermuda.

We rented 6 e-bikes from Elbow Beach Cycles.The service was beyond professional.Francis (I'm not sure about the spelling of his name)was so helpful and nice. Great experience with the team and elbow beach cycles. I rented a bike for four months, the rental process was easy and I was given a bike lesson at the start as I'd never used one before. Anytime I emailed with a question it was answered within the hour. Highly recommend!! Thanks Francis

The hospitality of those working here is unparalleled. We received a mini reminder/tips lesson prior to renting our mopeds, and were able to return anytime by dropping off our keys after closing time. Super fun experience! Would recommend!

We recently reserved 2 electric bicycles, upon arrival we were given a "lesson" on how to use them. It's hard to even call it a lesson because had our reservation worked out I'm certain neither one of us knew how to use the bikes at all. That's a pretty frightening thought when you are in another country driving on busy roads, talk about a literal crash course. After this "lesson", we came to realize that one of the bikes wouldn't turn back on and the other was only at 38% charge. After bringing this to the attention of the staff we were told "well, you will probably still get an hour out of it" and "you can just go charge it". We asked if there was another bike available to which we were told no, then we asked if we could at least be comped back for one day for the inconvenience, another no. The staff member we dealt with was completely unhelpful and lacked any customer service skills at all (even going as far as telling us we didn't need to use the locks they provide because "no one would steal them"). 2 full days of our trip were planned around having these bikes and that went straight into the trash, ultimately effecting the days that followed as well. We were completely disappointed by the entire interaction and experience. There were no attempts made by any staff we encountered to try and improve the situation at all either, ultimately we asked for a refund. This ended up resulting in tons of wasted time and hefty taxi fees instead with no other way to get around. Another fun fact, we paid $70 in fees for "bike preparations", ironic to say the least. Overall, for both safety reasons and pure lack of customer service I would not recommend anyone rent anything from this company.

Friendly staff. Hired an E-bike. Although expensive, well worth it & all relative as Bermuda is an expensive place to visit. Travelled portions of the Railway Trail and to various places about the Hamilton & East of the Island.

I rented a Vespa for the day and found Elbow Beach Cycles to be very courteous, efficient and helpful. The Vespa was clean and in great shape. I would definitely rent from them again!
