Best Thai Restaurant in the GTA!

Food 5/5
Price 5/5
Service 5/5

As a Thai food lover, and as someone who has visited Thailand, this has got to be one of the best (if not the best) Thai restaurants in the GTA.

I came here for lunch and ordered the green curry lunch special. It came with an amazing mango salad. It was so good, I ended up ordering the Pad Thai and basil chicken to go. I was pleasantly surprised at how many quality vegetables were in the green curry special. You can order from the lunch menu, the dinner menu and they also cater.

I highly recommend this place!

I swung by for their lunch special and got the "Holy Basil" with chicken. It was soooo tasty--just bursting with flavours. The lunch special comes with a side of soup or salad. I got the salad--a tasty mango salad. The portions were very generous, especially for the price. 10/10 would recommend. Tasty food, great value, and excellent service. Note: the dining area is very small and can only accommodate 4 guests at a time.

This is the spot. So so good. Came here after seeing the great Google reviews and was not disappointed. Ordered the lunch-size pad see ew and my request for some peanuts on the side was accommodated without question even when I thought I was being weird. Fresh, well-seasoned, perfectly spicy, amazing texture. I’ll definitely come back again.

I was excited to try this place after all the reviews.

Can honestly say the chicken wings were a bit chewy and dry with not much flavor. The Kaphrao was tasty but nothing special.

It has some good flavors going for the food but I feel it's playing it too safe.

We were blown away by the delicious, deep flavours of the penang curry and phat kaphrao. I felt like I was in Thailand again

While we were eating our meals at the seating area, there were many customers ordering and picking up food for takeout. We asked for our food to be made spicy and it was perfect with a nice kick without the spice overwhelming the dishes.

It was awesome seeing young, talented people running the restaurant.

Don't let the area fool you, Bathurst and Eglinton is serving authentic Thai food now. Would highly recommend!

Another day another random find.

We were casually looking for a place for some pas thai and stumbled across this place.

They had great quality pad thais as well as great service.

Only thing to watch for is the fact that they specialize in take-out meaning there are only 4 seats in the restaurant.

All in all, nice little Thai restaurant.

I kept reading reviews of this place so I was taken to this place for lunch for my birthday. We ordered a lot cause sure wanted leftovers for supper to feed her kids and hubby.
The lunch specials are a great deal and I highly recommend you get those. Comes with rice and soup!
So we ordered lunch special: pad Thai, massaman curry, holy basil
Regular dishes we ordered basil eggplant, pad see ew glass noodles, yellow curry

It was interesting that he adds fresh peppercorns to the dish. It looks pretty and I bit one to make sure lol and it was black pepper alright.

Would I go back? Yes for sure
I’d get the lunch specials plus the taro fries and I liked his glass noodles. A bit peppery but I like the flavour

If you're looking for delicious, authentic Thai food, look no further than this hidden gem! Phat Kaphrao offers a range of Thai dishes beyond the typical curries and pad thai to delight your taste buds.
I had the Khao Man Gai (chicken on fried rice) during my recent visit. The chicken was soft and tender, and the accompanying sauce had a strong ginger taste that made the dish stand out. I appreciated that it was boneless, which made it very easy to eat. My friends tried the Phat Kaphrao (Stir fried meat with rice) and Padthai, both very fragrant and fresh.
One thing I noted was how friendly and helpful the restaurant personnel were. They were happy to answer our questions, offer chilli oil on the side, and even recommended the level of spiciness for our dishes. I ordered mine medium-spicy, which had just the right amount of heat for my taste.
The restaurant was small, with only four seats. We were lucky because we did not know about it but could still dine in. Most people ordered takeout instead.
Overall, I had an enjoyable experience and would recommend Phat Khaphrao to anyone looking for authentic and flavourful Thai food. I can't wait to return and order more dishes, this time to go!
