Fits in well for the local october wine festival. On weekdays looks like a stranger in this city.
Cool place. Quite an important landmark for the country. However, it is a bit smaller than many people think it is. It also has text written on it in Romanian Cyrillic, which is one of those examples of soviet trash left that Moldova forgot to clean up

One of the more obvious monuments in the city and sits at the top of a nice little park. The arch and park are worth a visit.
We came, we saw, we didn't conquer it. The Arch is a monument in front of the government building, and it stands out from all the local architecture. It is worth a quick visit if you are the area, have a look online about the history of it!
Tryumfal arch, monument of memory Turkish- Soviet war, build on 1840. Of course smaller than in Bucharest or Paris, but nice square and park next to. Center of Chișinău, close to market place, once of main road, as I remember, information point also. Nice to see, not to have to.
