Paid 6500 baht to watch animal
Abuse at the elephant sanctuary. Had grown elephants chained to the ground that couldn’t walk 1 meter surround by feces, the baby elephant was begging for water, drinking sludge out of the ground so me and my partner bought 24 bottles of water to help hydrate the poor things and got told off for it

Animal cruelty.
We did Erawan trip and they brought us here because 5 people paid for "elephant bathing" which is a code name for elephant trekking.
The sign of cruelty on the animals was clear sign.
Here are some photos of the people that are in this industry

I had the most incredible time at Chang Puak Elephant Camp! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the staff. The elephants were treated with the utmost care and respect, which was heartwarming to witness.

The mahouts shared their deep knowledge and love for these majestic creatures, allowing me to connect with the elephants on a personal level. The interactions were both educational and heartwarming, and I could tell that the animals were genuinely happy and well-cared for.

The camp itself was well-maintained and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. The trek through the lush jungle was an adventure in itself, and the opportunity to bathe and feed the elephants in the river was an unforgettable highlight.

Chang Puak Elephant Camp exceeded all my expectations and provided an ethically responsible and unforgettable experience. I left with a newfound appreciation for these gentle giants and a heart full of cherished memories. If you're looking for an authentic and compassionate elephant encounter, this is the place to be!

We booked an all day private tour through Bangkok Best Travel. Spending a few hours at Chang Puak Elephant Camp was an amazing few hours in a day full of amazing activities. The elephants are amazing and majestic and seem to be happy and treated humanely. Highly recommend if you want to spend some time with some elephants.

Very great experience. 👍🏼
We had our suspicion before we went, so we were very careful when choosing the services to not encourage any animal abuse.
The elephants were able to roam around the site, well fed and happy.
When we were bathing the elephant, the trainer brought a stick but didn’t use it, and I also understand why sometimes discipline is needed to prevent danger for both elephants and people.
It was a very happy experience, after bathing the elephant, we rode back and fed him a basket of bananas.
