Tried to get coffee but showed up two minutes before opening so the guys inside looked at me like an idiot while I waited the 90 seconds…. And then he didn’t open it at 9 as if to prove some point??? So… we just continued to look at each other.

They could have cups to stay and be more sustainable.
I also wish they care vegan options since there are such a huge variety of pastries.

The iced drinks are satisfactory, the chai not as strong as I would like. The carrot bread just perfect like homemade. The fries very crisp, and egg and toast meal good quality but potatos not to my liking. My god son had frozen yogurt , very good quality and not too sweet for kids.

one of staff said they do not provide WIFI but I saw the aonther staff (looks like owner of the place ) provide WIFI password to other customer. environment is so nice to work with laptop but no INTERNET and expensive. Also, when I walked in nobody greeting or welcome ( I often do not expect in NYC tho) so I went to KIOSK and ordered. I ordered 'From here' on KIOSK but, They gave me plastic cutlery and to-go box. it seems they do not care cx at all.

By the way one of the staff cannot speak ENGLISH well. and she presume I ordered Latte. and keep staring me and yelling and walking towards to me.and I said I did not order and she was staring at me so I staring at her too and she show me awkward smile lol. when she finally made Americano and I asked her. And I asked her is this 20 oz and she said no it is 16 oz. so I said I ordered 20 oz and another staff said it is 20 oz

not a pleasant place at all feels ruined my day off

My favorite part about this cafe is its location. It is uniquely situated on the park in Stuytown which makes for a great and green atmosphere. It is also huge compared to most cafes in NYC which helps make it feel like you almost have the place to yourself some days.

You would also probably never come here unless you lived in or were visiting Stuytown which is kind of sad.

As for food and coffee, I didn’t think it was anything special but you won’t be spitting it out by any means! Coffee was definitely a step above Starbucks level but I didn’t walk away extremely impressed.

Staff are friendly as far as I have seen. There isn’t really service here you just pick up from the counter and choose a seat.

Again, this cafe is a relaxing spot to work or unwind and that’s why I would come here! Never huge crowds and the views are always great.

Been coming to this place for years. I haven’t visited throughout the winter and today I went down to get some breakfast. Not only the menu but the staff changed, too. We asked for a sandwich and the Southwestern croissant. I thought the girl at the counter forgot the latter and I asked her again.. she addressed me in such a rude tone that she made sure I won’t go back for a while. I do not care if someone calls their friends/family ‘baby’ but I definitely do not allow any random person to ‘baby’ me.. especially when she’s younger than me… some attitude change is needed. I hope the manager will have a chat with you my friend…
