Good and clean, but there were 2 guys who were supposed to help us "find our seats"
And each one of them clearly asked for tips!
And it was supposed to be a 3d film....but sadly it wasn't!

The cinema theatre is right on the main road. While I was crossing it, I happened to notice the poster of movie avatar 3-D video out of curiosity. I just checked in for the show. The movie ticket was only EGP 80, which in comparison I found it to be lesser. 3D glasses for another EGP 25. The screens were small but comfortable. The sound system was decent and nothing outstanding.

I went today for the 11am viewing of Avatar in 3D. Ticket prices were 35egp for 1 ticket. I booked on line via their website with a 5egp booking fee and they are doing a promotion of buy 2 tickets online and get a small salted popcorn free. Limited time deal but no end date showing. The foyer is dated and has a welcoming family of mosquitos. The staff initially had difficulty obtaining our tickets from my email but it was sorted withing 10 mins. Popcorn was cooked fresh and was fine. A small popcorn is 25egp. I couldn't see much of the seating as the lights were already dimmed when we entered screen 5. The seats are okay but the padding is shot and within 20 mins you feel the hard plastic seat underneath you. Avatar was 3hrs long, so I was shifting around to try and stop the numbness and keep comfortable. The screen for a first day showing of Avatar was very small. I sat in row G as it was middle of the cinema but the screen felt small. Sound was fine. Aircon must have been on because we are in December now and it was chilly in there. The place is just about okay, don't expect a new cinema and soft padded seating and you will be fine.

Clean, quite, and nice theater.
Only Arabic movies were available.
The movie started with 30 mins delay.
The cashier and the guide asked for tipping

This is not my first experience there but the same problems still exist. Bad sound system and screen quality. Even the air condition was off in a humid dog day afternoon of Cairo.
I was surprisingly asked for tips from the needy employee at the box office, who is doing his ordinary job, and for an online ticket that was already payed.
The bathroom was fine but without toilet papers which was also annoying.
