Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center

Nice walk ways into the swamp with raised broad walks.

This was a treasured place to bring my children for adventures. They are now in their 20s and I return regularly for the wonderful trails, peace and comfort. It is my happy place. 😊

Super friendly staff and safe environment!

MCOEC is a great place to bring the kids. Inside the center they can learn about the ecosystem of the Great Swamp, including all the animals that make the Swamp their home. From the taxidermied animals to the interactive exhibits, and all the other neat stuff around the facility, therest plenty to keep the kids' attention. The people who work there (Stephanie, especially) are super friendly and happy to share their knowledge. Also, the hiking/walking trails are very interesting and easy to navigate.
