Everything was soo nice. I would definitely come back here. The food felt like home cooked food. I love the entire experience. It is halaal friendly and has many vegan options.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations . The staff, the welcoming atmosphere, fabulous decor, the food, and the wine selection was exemplary. Thank you for this great experience. 👍

Really cool spot! It was my first time trying ethiopian cuisine and it did not disappoint. They have a special on Mondays - 2 course menu for 2 people @R375 (vegan and non-vegan options both available). Very worth it... the portion sizes are very reasonable! Food was really flavourful! I'll definitely visit again. Meat is halaal friendly.

First time eating Ethiopian food and it was an awesome experience. What a fantastic way to ‘break bread’ with a group of people your are meeting for the first time. Friendly staff who let us enjoy our dinner experience far after closing time.

A very good place for having a wonderful dinner.
The food is amazingly delicious, we had the 2 course set (vegan) and barely had room for dessert. We also ordered a nice bottle of wine. The service was fantastic, very well explained.

Edit in response : Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the waiter. I visited towards end of March so it's been a while. Maybe you could ask all your waiters to observe this policy? That way everyone knows. I'll give you guys another chance. Updating the review from 2/5 --> 3/5 for now. Appreciate that you care about these things.

The food was great: I’d have happily given 5/5.

The problem was with their policies and service. I took an Italian guest for dinner. I’m a vegetarian while my guest wasn’t. The servers forced me to eat from the same plate as the non-vegetarian one, they refused to serve me separately even after I explained things to them. For those who don’t understand this : I’m a vegetarian since birth and the thought of having meat absolutely disgusts me. It is similar to forcing a devout Muslim to eat in the same plate in which Pork is served.

If the guest wasn’t very important I’d have left immediately. Will not be back - sadly the food is great.
