I love Astoria, there is so many things to do, young or old. It's an awesome place for kids and adults of all ages ☺️

Take the ferry there to Pier 11 (if I'm right) in Wall St. Views are great. You can get the tickets at the machines on the pier. 5' walking from Noguchi Museum.

I recently just found you can take ferry to go around Manhattan for only 2.75. Then I decided to give a try from Astoria to Wall Street. It was very smooth and made several stops.

The only thing you need to notice is your MTA card is not applicable here, and you need to buy additional ticket from the vending machine

The most pleasant way to enjoy the view of NYC and cheaper than any tour, $2.75 per time.. carry your giid or drink to make it better.
Ticket is not part of MTA city transportation, have to buy at their dispenser on port.. love the sensation..
It's mandatory to use this service 😊 if you don't use it, wel..you're silly
Much more pleasant experience than the subway - and for the same price! You can either buy tickets at the dock or download the app NYC Ferry. A short trip to 34th st.

A perfect gateway for city seeing from the water. Just spending $2.75 for one way to enjoy this beautiful view

Such a more pleasant experience than the subway! Actually being able to see the city as you're traveling from one place to another is such a novelty. I never knew Roosevelt Island was so big...or so occupied!

The ferry arrived exactly on time, boarding was quick and efficient. The boat was clean (we were just upstairs) and the staff knew what they were doing.

It's the same price as the subway, though you can't use the cards interchangeably. We got to the dock about 20 minutes ahead of time and got our tickets before anyone else had arrived so we got our tickets and waited. About 15 minutes before the ferry arrived a line formed to buy tickets, but it moved quickly

The only downside was that, even though it was a nice warm day, getting onto the water was much chillier. Though it also coincided with the clouds rolling in. Not the ferry's fault. We went from Astoria to Wall Street in about 30-40 minutes.
