This place is great for relaxation. Perhaps residents of this area come here for walks and picnics. But this is part of Canadian history, and such an interesting one. And the picturesque landscapes and views of the river and city are remembered forever. There are many paid parking lots for cars, and the price is not high.
We loved walking the Plains of Abraham. We didn't know what to expect, but this was so cool. Not only walking at the walls but also walking along the wall / boardwalk was fantastic
Joan of Arc statue, and gardens was a nice touch to salute this female warrior. Also, the French army and camp early 1700's with a time period reenactment was fantastic. Super french exposition for tourists. Good job.
We walked the Plains of Abraham from approximately the ninety block of Grand Allee and over to the St Lawrence River, followed by our walk to the Citadel of Quebec City.
It's good to take in the signage and read about the important Quebec and Canadian history, along the way. It is an important visit this site in Quebec City if you have a few hours of time.

Very cool and historical park. A must-see in Quebec City trips. Nearby the old town and the Citadel, so it's convenient. Since this is a former battlefield, there isn't much shade.
Even if you're not a history buff, this is a great place to visit! Learn a little bit about how the English victory during an established French presence would shape Canada into what it looks like today. Lots of walking, but didn't remember seeing bathrooms around where we were. You'll be rewarded with a stunning view of the water/city after touring near the fort.
I decided to go on a tour bus and we passed threw the plains of Abraham it’s very beautiful and you get the view of saint Lawrence river it was cloudy and windy that day the view was amazing maybe a little better with no clouds…
