Even though it’s really busy and the people are GHETTO, I still choose to shop here. Learned my lesson. I will be going to the Aldi opening up close by. On Oct 11, I used my food stamp card at this shoprite for a $70 purchase and got cash back of $30. The card had an additional $100 cash added on 10/14, and all of the cash ($217) was taken out today 10/15 as well as the remaining full snap balance on the card. I did not use this card for any transactions after this date. That is really despicable behavior, stealing people EBT benefits. I’m not even sure what to say.
I just picked up my order of cupcakes for my son's birthday celebration and I am in awe!!!! Christina in the bakery dept is an amazing person, with such an awesome personality. When she took my order I was excited because she was excited about making this order. Fast-forward to today and words can not express how impressed I am with Christina, her skills and my cupcakes!!! I will be using ShopRite for all my baking needs so long as Christina is there with her contagious charisma and smile!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗 Thank you for making this special day a memorable one. I can't wait for my son to see these 🤗😁
For the most part it’s been good . Lately this ShopRite has a.few rude workers. I just walked out because your employee was super rude and left without my groceries. I called her manager for what it’s worth . Should this happen again I will stop shopping there. I don’t want to spent my money where people are rude. I go there every week and spend over 100,00 dollars may not be much for but a lot for to have to deal with rudeness.
First time and it was a really good experience everything was very organized and fresh. Paul is awesome he helped us when we had some questions about the Rice I was purchasing and he also informed me about the sale on Scott tissue and how I can get it at Guest services. The ladies at Guest Services were so nice and helpful. As well as the young ladies at checkout so attentive and helpful. It was super busy and they managed to be very professional and nice.
Love this ShopRite the workers are friendly and helpful,,This store is very clean and organized..They always have great sales and their food is always fresh..Easy to find things in store but the guy name Elvin that works in the deli department he is rude and doesn't no how to speak to female customers. He did it to me and this other lady. Be safe y'all. Also have cash on hand just in case their debit or credit machine is down cause it does happens. Technologies is never reliable.
Everything was going well until the announcement came over the loud speaker to say the debit and credit card machine was down and they could only accept cash until the down equipment came back online. The lines were long and people paying by card had to get outline and find cash quick, mind you the lines were long. Try to avoid shopping there on Saturday afternoon. The store is super crowded. Other than that the place appeared to be run very well and the shelves were loaded with items to sell, unlike a number of shoprite with empty shelves. This place was neat and clean and every paid employee was working. Give this place try because I believe you'll enjoy shopping for groceries in a neat, clean and we'll run #shoprite.
I am so glad that ShopRite came to the Bronx when it first opened. I have never visited one until I heard about its arrival. There is sooooo much to see and explore that this supermarket is practically a village in itself. Their own brand of food such as hamburgers and cola tasted so great. Not to mention that the place is well-cared for and organized. Although some of the items there are a bit pricey conpared to other markets, the quality that dwells inside them, in my opinion, are unmatched by anything I have ever consumed. All I can say is that ShopRite is the prime example of what a REAL supermarket should look like hands down.
