Best park in Redcliffe. Always busy, but spread out with discreet nooks and crannies to make it private for a picnic lunch. Loads of amenities including accessibility playground, private showers in toilets, plenty of bbq's, bins, water fountains and dog poo bags provided. Dogs allowed on certain sections of beach. Boat ramp, filleting fish bench, loads of car park for trailers.

Great Spot for wind surfing, including Kite flying.
Ample parking space, close by amenities and nice beach front.
Has a playground for kids and BBQ spot, trees for shade and water bubbles for both people and dogs

Amazing new pirate ship themed playground.
Huge pirate ships with stairs or rope climb up. 2 slides, steering wheels, canon balls, binoculars, fireman poles. There’s a baby swing, kids swing, round web swing. There’s a sand play station, see-saw with one side for bigger kids and one for smaller kids on the other side. There’s rockers, a spinning station, soft fall and loads of soft sand to play in.
BBQs, plenty of covered seating, filtered water tap, rubbish and recycling bins, ocean views.
We walk up being only 7 minutes away, but there are always plenty of car spots available even on sunny, warm weekends.
4 stars because I wish there were toilets close by. But there’s some only about a 3-4 minute walk away; which isn’t too bad.

The new playground at Pelican Park is pretty cool. My kids had a great time there. It was very busy, but with 2 carparks and another close by, there seemed to be plenty of parking. Nice and close to the water, big open spaces, and the coastal walkway.

It could get a bit breezy there, but today we had a gentle breeze and it was lovely.
