I can look past missing patient files and long queues. But I saw a locum who put me on an insufficient antibiotic dose which let my fever spiral out of control. Completely unacceptable, I hope I am the only one.
Fortunately I still had the presence of mind to seek a second medical opinion elsewhere and now I'm in recovery. Money lost but lesson learnt.

He is a good doctor but waiting is same as day hospital and the receptionist always asking details every time I visit. And the Queue has no direction some come after your and get assisted first, yet they said no appointments... as much as I like the doctor I will look else where. Cant wait 3 hours oko
Opening is 10 Doctor arrives at 11 and will help patients till 12. Reception says not sure but as far as I know the doctor is coming.The receptionist pans is hanging .You sit and wait like you at Day hospital total
Dr Albie is truly a gifted Doctor. He has so much of patience and one can feel his passionate and puts his heart into helping his patience. I needed to take my 1 year old for a check up,Doc explained his eczema had turned into a Bacterial infection, and prescribed an antibiotic,a cream as well as tips on how I should take care of his skin .He also mentioned i could come back,if i see no difference, and that he would treat my baby for free..My son was extremely comfortable with Doc, and interacted with ease.
I had to wait a while to be seen ,but honestly after seeing how well he interacts with his patients,it was worth the wait .Doc is a very busy man ,so don't expect to be seen immediately.!!😊..My son was able to get back to creche the very next day ..The eczema was completely healed..Thank you Doc ,you doing a great job ..

Still waiting for the Dr to call me back re medication she prescribed my nephew last week Monday.. Receptionist's daughter answered the phone, eventually Receptionist took the phone. Very unprofessional experience.
I recently assisted a beloved family member with a visit to this Highly recommended Doctor.
When I called and spoke with the Secretary she was Extremely helpful giving me background Information on the Doctors experience and skills. Chloe was very professional and helpful.
The doctor went through Multiple questions and took time to analyze the patient. What a relief and pleasant experience.
This was a welcome change from that all to common experience where a doctor rushes patients in and Out of the room with little research on patient history. This was not our experience here.
All in all we highly recommend this specific doctor and his cheerful secretary.

Excellent service from all staff. Wonderful one on one with Dr Van Zyl who takes the time to get to know his patients. As a pensioner and non Medical Member Dr Van Zyl's prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend this wonderful man and the hard work he and his staff put into helping us all.
