Great beer garden with ample seating on the river. I recommend the JW beer started in the 1300s. The food was fine but drinks more notable—I’d stick with the schnitzel and skip the meatloaf. Pretzels were stale.

Great place by the river to catch some drinks and even better to dine with family or friends, calm atmosphere and good service, food was great and served fast. Staff was friendly and the price is average for what we ordered.

Highly recommend if you're near Central Station and advise to reserve table if you have a large group.

Had lunch here on a Sunday and really enjoyed the experience! The restaurant is in the heart of Berlin, next to the river and close to the Hauptbahnhof and Bundestag but it feels almost like you are on the countryside with a very inviting and comfy Biergarten and a relaxed atmosphere. We were seated outside and taken care of by friendly and accommodating waiters, with the service being fast and efficient. I ordered the roast duck and my girlfriend had the Schnitzel Wiener Art. We were both very happy with our choices. The duck came with red cabbage a succulent gravy and two Knödel, making for a hearty and delicious meal. The menu is varied, featuring a good selection of German classics. They serve Augustiner beer, which of course goes down very well with the food 🍻🍺

One of my favorite beer gardens in Berlin. I visited twice during my stay, food was amazing both times, good prices and you can also get beer by the liter. To give an idea of the price, the beer and pizza cost me €28.

Best biergarten I've found so far. Food is expensive with small portions, but you're here for the beer, which is plentiful and fairly priced. The atmosphere here is beautiful, but do not come if you are allergic to wasps. Major wasp infestation, take care where you sit!

Amazing place to try local German cuisine! Try the Schnitzel with baked potatoes and red berry marmalade and the Pork Knuckle. The first one was so nice, thin and crispy like a good Austrian beef Schnitzel! The second one was so well cooked and very soft meat. Also there was a very nice Bavarian atmosphere in this restaurant and the service was friendly. I have come to this place a couple of time but I will be back again soon!

I really like the location. You can sit in the shade of a big chestnut tree during these hot times nowadays in summer. The food and the beer is more average, "Bavarian style". I guess mainly to attract tourist from all over. What I really dislike, is the card payment allowance. Only sums above 10€ are accepted, this is so outdated after COVID times!
