Sales presentation that was suppose to be 90 minutes max turned into a whole day circus.

We were asked the same questions over and over, when the info they needed us to confirm was submitted in a hospital chart like form, upon our arrival (name, age, country of residence, occupation, relationship status etc). I asked this staffer, did they not have this info from the person who signed us up originally? The staffer said she couldn't contact them and then proceeded to call the staffer (Erick) right in front of me. I had to ask her again, was that the person you said you couldn't contact?! She said yes and I told her how convenient for her.

They were polite on arrival, but when we declined their membership offer all hell broke loose. Couldn't get our taxi back home, had to walk the grounds to another hotel, it was almost as if we were being held for ransom. A 10 minute car ride there, was about an hour trying to get out. Beautiful hotel however their sales presentation was a time tunnel twilight zone. The sales staff (Gradia? And Manuel?) need to understand that it's a courtesy for those on vacation to attend their presentation and when we reach the point where it's no longer a presentation rather being accosted into something we no longer have interest in - let the people go!

If you are ever approached by this chain, I highly suggest to run not walk, in the opposite direction. It was an absolute nightmare. Be safe out there!

The hotel was really nice, the views are amazing. It’s totally worth it to go. The service is great, they are checking on you if you need anything. By the main pool there are multiple carts through out the day, and at the rooftop you could get a more personalized service.
The classes are free but some of these require 3 classes to complete a product.

This was our second trip to this property, it is a beautiful place. However, we had our emergency travel cash stolen from my backpack by housekeeping in our room. We don't make this accusation lightly, we are confident that it the only way it happened based on a timeline of events. The hotel took an incident report, and told us they would investigate and get back to us within 72 hours. It has been over three weeks and we never heard back. We left a night early (didn't feel comfortable there anymore), and the hotel refused to reimburse us the one night we did not stay. They were not accommodating to our experience in any way. Very disappointing experience.

I’m writing this review as a “heads up” to anybody booking at this hotel. My husband and I stayed here for a week and the hotel and grounds are gorgeous. We did not have room service the last 5 days we were there. Our room was not cleaned, no fresh towels, no turn down service etc. we tried to ask about this but never had it resolved. The restaurants and excursions that are offered with the package are extremely difficult to get into. So plan on going to the buffet for most of your dining and staying on the hotel grounds. We woke up early every morning (as advised) just to see if there were cancellations for restaurants and excursions. The customer service desk was always full and it took a few hours out of every single day just to see if we could get reservations to different excursions/dining. it did not feel relaxing and overall we were very frustrated. I was told a manager would be calling us to discuss our stay but this never happened. If you decide to book with this hotel, just be prepared. It is very beautiful, but not worth the price or the headache.

Every interaction with staff and personnel has been very positive. They are so hospitable, incredibly helpful and so gracious. I had servers dancing while preparing our food, some singing along and genuinely enjoying what they do.
We marveled and appreciated the Mexican artworks, sculptures, music and entertainment. What an amazing experience staying at Xcaret Arte. I highly recommend it.

Really enjoy staying here, this is the third time and its still as good as the times before. All you can eat, drink, transportation to all the parks they have and admission, activities, beaches, pools, an amazing spa and pick up/ drop off at airport. The food selection is wonderful, so many to choose from and all great quality. Drinks are abundant, be a bit watery, you can get shots or beer thats pure. Room service included also. Really is amazing stay, unless all you want to do is beach and drink then it could be a bit expensive but if your up for adventures this is the best in the area. Arte is 16+ so no kids but next door is their other hotel which is just as good albeit with lots of kids. Wish I would have had my phone more to take pictures but I was relaxing so much.

The wife and I have been twice now. We are going for a third time next year. This resort is one of the best we have stayed at. The staff are exceptional, very friendly, professional, and attentive. The resort is beautiful and very well designed. The food is amazing, the pools and bars are great, the shows are very entertaining, and the parks are a blast. There is so much to do and it is so relaxing that we can not get enough. We stay on the Arte side but there is a Mexico side as well that is kid friendly. Arte is adult only. Arte residents can enter the Mexico side but Mexico residents can't enter the Arte side (this keeps the Arte side adult only and more private). The beach itself is a little rocky and not the best but they are leaving the land as natural as possible, and there are so many pools and other places to relax that we rarely go to the beach. I really can't say enough about this place. We love the way they treat their employees and embrace the culture. Some research into the resort will make you love it even more.
