48th Street Laundromat is a clean place to get your clothes washed & dried. There is actually staff on premises. They were friendly & helpful when I had a need to interact with them, yet unobtrusive until then. I will be returning & would recommend the facility to anyone.

This is my go-to Laundromat. Good prices, snack machine, waiting area
Helpful staff. Good machines. Clean. And you can totally tan in a tanning bed while you wash your laundry -- if you'd like. One stop shopping

Fun and interesting place. A hole in the wall definitely. The attendant was very sweet. Prices good. Huge selection of reasonably priced lotions and samples. Clean bed. What’s not to love?

I love this place Shauna, jordi,Kristi, and all the other woman that work are so good to me, the owner on the other hand needs to learn a few customer service skills and everyone that works here take good care of there customers! I would take a bullet for the people that work there not for the owner but for the one's that work for the owner!! I LOVE THIS LAUNDROMAT ALL BECAUSE OF THE WOMEN THAT WORKS THERE..

ROACHES! They're good people and you can get your laundry done here for sure but today I saw multiple roaches in the building. I won't be coming back and I wish I had known they were here before coming. Hopefully this warning will help someone else avoid the same thing.

For my purposes, this laundromat is inadequate, but I only washed large blankets and sleeping bags. The average person, who just wants to wash clothes, would probably be completely content the facilities.

There is only one washer ($3.75 per load) large enough to fit my 2 person sleeping bag. I had to wash the other 2 sleeping bags and comforter in 3 smaller, separate front loading washers ($3 per load). There are even smaller front loading machines that are cheaper ($2.25), but it would have been too tight of a fit. I have a washer and dryer at home, so $1.75 per wash top loading machines are not an option I need.

There are plenty of dryers that are large enough for my 2 person sleeping bag, and the forecasted rain makes machine drying necessary. The 25¢ per 10 minutes seems to be on par with the cost of the other machines.

Other amenities include drop-off laundry service, free WiFi, and an ATM. There is free coffee for patrons, but a cup will cost you 25¢ (BYOC). There is also a microwave. If you just need to stop in and dry a pair of socks, it may suffice, but I would recommend using it for some burritos instead.
